yea i think so too, although i think like many early 80's cars they will pick up in value and become scarce. this is the only one in my whole town that i have found so far. people came to my house to look at it because they themselves have always wanted one hahah. its wierd..

also just to add to my collection.. i was out on a property today and found this its an rt81 rona' and its pretty neat, the rear quarter glasses are broken and the sill has been pop riveted on :$ but other than that and a rusted to shit bonnet its pretty cool. i asked the old lady and she gave me it too. haha

since then i have gone and picked up this car. so after we picked it up we took it to the aircon business workshop because our backyard is full already.. so its now sitting across the road from a panel beaters and its at a workshop so its in a good place. i think ill get a quote on the rust repaired. and a clear coat is optional. other than that, my mate is a fabricator and has all the machines to fix and customise cars in his shop, so ill get him to make me some coilovers for the front but epicly low ones so i can wind them down to stupid low. and I'm not sure about the back. could you make some kind of coil over for the rear?

so this is my newly aquired ke70 four speed manual 4k-c engined shitbox. i say rolling relic because besides the rust repairs it needs which involves the two spaces above the taillights and a small patch in the roof. when thats fixed and ground down and undercoated. the paint will be left the same, the spotlights will remain. the interior is staying as it is. it will eventually have a worked 4k and hopefully go sideways on demand but i don't want to roll the guards or anything i just want to keep the old school patina and slam it on some black widened stockies. oh and theres abit of rust in the fuel filler cap but an easy fix. the wheel arches seem to be in good nick, but ill tackle the rust as it comes i wont go chasing it. there is a few spots near the b pillar that are trying to rust but I'm going to nutralise that before it can. this car was on the verge of death and I'm going to save her just in time.
