  1. On the subject of pig-ugly concept cars from japanese companies but designed by talentless yanks, behold Toyota's latest offering. 2007 Toyota FT-HS click it. you won't.... Front engined RWD 3.5 Litre V6. Sounds good so far right? but wait for it... HYBRID. Supposedly puts out just under 300kw. But don't get too excited just yet about there finally being some sort of driftable succesor to the AE86... as its a hybrid, it will most likely be auto-only and have so many electronic driver assistance bulltwangers that you won't even be able to chirp it into second gear let alone fang it round corners at sphincter-puckering degrees of opposite lock. Oh and doesn't it have more than a co-incedental similarity to the new GTR... *sigh* If anyone happens to bump into the CEO of Toyota, could they pass on this quick message for me? Dear sir. Could you please build several thousand of the following vehicle: Light (less than 1000kg) RWD 2 litre N/A vvt 2 doors. No bells, no whistles, no bullshit, just a cheap, rear wheel drive hatch/coupe. yours sincerely, the downright f@$king frustrated consumer.
  2. It wouldn't matter even if you DID have a licence.... I think they put people from WA in quarantine for 6 weeks :jamie:
  3. Fwoooaaar.... sexy. Hello ladies......
  4. So you'll have the coupe to pick 'em up, and the van for "entertaining" ? :jamie:
  5. Yeah the toyotas hold together better.... but datto motors just keeeep on running. I have done extensive testing on this matter. :jamie: When my 120 finally died (strut tower spot welds separated from the bodyshell, amongst other problems attributed to extreme metal fatigue) I pulled the engine down and discovered cracked pistons with bits missing and dents in the valves, but it was STILL RUNNING when I drove it into the shed. The larger datto motors can be problematic, (L20's) with the exeption of the 180b sss with the L18... sweeeeet engine. I miss my datto ;)
  6. Hehehehe..... I had a b210..... but they were called 120y over here... tried my hardest to break it but it just wouldn't :jamie:
  7. Zip ties and hair product uleh
  8. Cool.... nice find! I'll be interested to see your ideas for the IRS setup... you'll wanna be making some serious ponies to justify the extra weight though...
  9. ok... that all sounds reasonable... but you're not factoring in the extra grand you'd need to get another 'rolla :jamie:
  10. Yeah I was thinking that as well... cheap and easy conversion too. you'll have to fabricate engine and g'box mounts and a custom tailshaft, but thats all relatively simple stuff and a few guys on here have done it before. You'll also need to hack a hole in the tunnel for the shifter but it seems you don't have a problem with hacking away bits of bodywork :jamie: Do a search and you'll find all the info you need
  11. You might need something with a little more torque than the 4age... something NA with nice high compression and bigger displacement.
  12. English doesn't seem to be your strong point either.... Tip: don't be so goddamn lazy and spell your words properly so you don't sound like such a f@$king retard. This will help you to get better answers to your questions and avoid your fully sik arse getting kicked off the forum

    The Kesev!

And there's always the ever present threat of ninja attack. They do exist in shadow after all....
  15. There's a joke about a BOV to be made here...... :jamie:
  16. I believe the ID plate on a liteace is underneath the engine cover (ie the passenger seat) but I may be wrong. Thats where it is in the Hiace anyway... or on the passenger side kick panel.
  17. De Soto De Shmoto.... it ain't no daisy. Why the hell is that 'rolla selling for so much? Has there been some sort of bizarre and unexplainable popularity surge in banged up old corollas in the USA? You'd be struggling to pull 1k AUD for that here.... completly original or not
  18. Get thee a wobble bar. Its by far the easiest way... and as per post #2 get underneath and use long extensions. Go buy some if you need to... they're really handy to have.
  19. Don't you DARE sell her before I get a chance to go for a ride... :)
  20. ^^^ You don't need pictures, you won't be meeting her. Go find a mirror and cry at yourself.^^^ Bwahahahahaha :)
  21. Around the fuel filler.... also check ALL the body seams inside the doors, especially the front A pillars and near the hinges. I've also seen it in engine bay along seams in the firewall.
  22. There's something just fundamentally wrong with the second one.... corolla = boxy. supra = curvy. corolla = practical econo-box supra = pointy psuedo-supercar just doesn't sit right.
  23. Just for reference.... its for the entire month of march. And no, there won't be a cameraman following you 24/7 ... reality TV styles :)
  24. My GF eats little boys like jip for breakfast :)
  25. Yeah... game or stupid. Although... I've done my homework and there's actually only a few people on this site I'd consider so we'll see if one of them steps up.
