Or their f@$king heads

When I get back to AU, I will be placing a nice, fresh American flag underneath my rolla to protect and liberate my garage floor from oil drips.

Rockin. Next mod... esky-on-a-stick for the other side, and a chair that comes out from where the spare tyre goes. Get to it... chop chop.... -
2/10 Dan... RICE... hehehehe Snapped this one today... shadow of the car kinda spoils it... but the colours are quite nice.

One of my father's business associates has an Aston Martin Vanquish I was fortunate enough to borrow for a dirty weekend with the gf once... quick, but not as quick as the supra a friend of mine in brissy owns. Purpose built for top speed with a monster single turbo and stupid diff ratio. Easily clips 300kph... but a pussbox auto AE82 could beat it to 60. Bogs down, bunny hops and lurches its way through traffic but as soon as it spools up... holy shit. Your eyeballs fill with blood and small rips are created in the time-space continuum...

hey mikey.... Sorry if I've caused any offence or anything. I know I'm making massive generalisations... I've just been genuinely mortified by my experiences thus far. I also made that post after having a long and frustrating political debate with the very small minded american chap currently dating my australian friend I'm staying with over here. Bah There's still a chance I'll make it to OK... I found a stang on ebay in OK city that looks promising.. Also Its going to cost a small fortune to change my ticket so I'm better off just hanging around... I might rethink my plans once I learn to deal with the place and find some decent food that doesn't make me feel like crap. oh man I can't wait to get back home and dig into a big f@$koff barramundi fillet.... mmm fresh things.....

Yes. Elvis optional.

hey crew... few more pics if you're interested. Got back to vegas from mexico a couple of days ago. Had a pretty wicked time in cancun, went inland a bit and checked out some mayan ruins too. Very cool, very spooky, very awe inspiring. Cancun Rust seems to be a problem on the coastal areas of mexico... Its amazing what you can have delivered here. They were fresh out of brunettes unfortunately. Chichen Itza. Very cool. How to look nonchalant amongst thousands of years of history. back in vegas... I'm developing a much deeper understanding of the "great" american way of life. Fine food (Thats a 10 litre bucket by the way) Affordable beverages And everything comes pre-packaged for your convenience. In fact, if you just don't feel like hauling your bloated, disgusting, unhealthy arse out of the drivers seat to perform those mundane and ordinary daily duties, why should you? Just drive around in your impractically large 6.7L Dodge Earthf@$ker pickup until you find the appropriate drive through service that meets your needs. Like an ATM for example. Being in this country sickens me to the very essence of my being and I cannot wait to leave. f@$k the Mustangs.

I use mequiars back2black on raw external plastics, door seals and window channels, good stuff. Don't bother with armour all and all the other cheap stuff... its mostly water. Get thee to the supply shops and pick up stuff like "lazarus" its a bit more expensive but a million times better. If you have any internal or external plastic that has started going grey, (ie: silvia indicator stalks) lazarus will fix it. Makes Ke70 bumpers look like new too.

Government Announces On Public Tv That They Are Retarded.

every single learner driver should be given a shitbox paddock basher and a really big area to f@$k up repeatedly in. Its how you learn the dynamics of car control. -
number plate light... or maybe not

I detailed for ages... still do on the cars I buy to recondition. I swear by Autoglym... pick it up from panelbeater supply shops (as opposed to any of the chain stores) and you will save big $$$... Its also an australian owned company... I've used all of the top-end $70-for-a-litre 3M type stuff and autoglym is just as good and costs 1/5th the price. In my experience kitten no.2 is good for removing imperfections but leaves a lot to be desired in the shine department. Works well with a good quality wet-look synthetic wax over the top, but thats a lot of work. Don't waste your cash. If your paint is in good condition and well maintained, meguiars gold glass works well and smells nice :D Also, and you may laugh, but good ol' Nu-finish works a treat on good to average paint. Cheap too. Proper polishing cloths and buffing towels are cash well spent too. My 2c...

Hehehe..... tried to drop a skid in the hummer.... best I could do was to make it howl around corners. You better believe THAT put the fear of god into the valet at the MGM grand... ;) I´m in mexico at the moment and this goddamn PC won´t recognise my usb SDcard reader so I can´t upload any pics til I get back to the states in a few days... then the mustang hunt begins in ernest. oohyeah.
-
Yeah there's like 3 H2's in the street where I'm staying.... its an utterly horrendous vehicle... really badly constructed and poor quality materials and finish.... even the whole flip-front bonnet is made of plastic. Not fibreglass.... plastic.
-
And the mitsu 380 you call a galant, amongst others. what the hell do we build that looks like a Hummer? Au takes more influence from europe... the commodore/falcon/aurion/380 look nothing like the styleless dreck I see out the window right now... Have you LOOKED at a cadillac CTS lately? lay off the pipe boy

Probably because everyone is depressed.... I guess it would be hard to feel like you were anything other than just another human in a sea of conformity. There's so much social pressure to do everything a certain way, dress in the corporate image, aspire to the same goals etc... It would seem a bit futile if you thought about it too much.

So now I'm in the USA.... got in early this morning US time after an overnight flight. I arranged a rental car while I was still in Japan... I went with hertz cos they have rollas :P But, in yet another f@$kup, there were no rollas left, and i needed a one way rental from LAX to Vegas, with Satnav. Thats what I reserved, thats what I paid for, and I wasn't going to accept anything less. So, the only option they had was a free uprgrade, which is cool with me.... unfortunately, this was the only vehicle available which met the criteria. Isn't that a bugger. You will notice I slapped an aussie flag on the rear window..... OI! OI! OI!..... I dunno what it is about going overseas that turns me into an absolute goddamn bogan.... but I'll run with it for now :hmm: Its cool.. but also a monumentous bucket of crap. I can't believe aussies pay 100k to own one of these things... they really are terrible. At least Americans have an excuse... all their cars are shit. Anyway... straight off an overnight flight into LA freeway traffic. Thats an experience. I highly recommend it to the mentally unstable and suicidal. And then out into the desert to vegas. Bat country. Vegas for another couple of days.... then off to Cancun. Now THAT should make for some interesting photos.... Stay tuned.

hey peeps Just thought I'd throw a few pics up of my trip thus far.... Due to an airline f@$kup I didn't get to spend as much time as planned in Japan, so the Chaser hunt is postponed til I come back in a few months. But, I did get around a bit and snap a few cool shots. Tokyo madness... For those that have never been, these few shots serve to illustrate the enormity and sheer scope of this amazing city... its truly mind boggling that it functions at all, 12 million people in central tokyo and 32 million in the greater tokyo district and somehow they all manage to get to work on time, eat, sleep, and get very very drunk on the weekends. Its incredible. I love it. And in case you were wondering.... it has astonishingly good aim.

Well.... the clutch and flywheel are bolted to the engine so make sure whoever you get the gearbox from includes them as well. The auto corolla has a different ratio differential (I believe) than the manual to improve economy etc etc but I don't think you will notice the difference with the torque an SR20 makes :) More than likely you will obliterate the diff the first time you side step the clutch... I would be considering an upgrade... I think a T-series would handle SR power if driven sensibly.
-
Clutch flywheel possibly a bearing or two and maybe the tailshaft from the manual although I can't see a need for axles and springs.
-
Hows this.... many many moons ago when I was into geminis and celicas and didn't know much else, I picked up a shovelnose two door for 300 bucks.... sold it for 400 and thought I was pretty smart... stupid stupid stupid stupid I would KILL to have that car back now and It would be worth bucketloads *aaargh*
-
Shhh... don't tell anyone.... we like your money :lolcry: We're also removing the rear doors from our run-of-the-mill Holden Commodore family hack and selling it to you as a Pontiac GTO... hehehehe oops I think I just gave the game away
-
yup... 100 for the rolla vs 1000 to get the head gasket done in my mate's 5mg cressida...

Take the tyres off the rims, attach a JATO rocket to the boot, and use the railway lines... I think someone in the states did it once with spectacular results... take some pictures.

A lot of the stuff AJPS sells is also available from www.technotoytuning.com and they are based in the USA so your shipping may be cheaper... they have some excellent products, as does AJPS Personally I would stick with a nissan motor, as your car is already set up for it... also there are a gazillion aftermarket parts available for the SR20 in your part of the world, less so the GE or GZE. An SR20 ecu shouldn't have any trouble running an RB20 gearbox... unless you're going to stick with the automatic then you *may* run into some problems, but I can't confirm that I've only ever played with manuals.
