You still haven't confirmed what car you're trying to shove a rotor into yet... for the moment I'm going to assume its an AE82... Don't bother. Really. It really will be a monumental undertaking, and kinda pointless to boot.

For fear of stating the bleedingly obvious, I will anyway... Have you checked the battery and terminals? If batteries are left without charge for too long (like a week is long enough) sulphides build up and they don't hold charge for longer than a few minutes.

Moreys upper cylinder and head lubricant.... mixes in with your fuel.... I had a very very similar problem on in a K motor that had been sitting for quite a while and it worked... stuck rings. I'd really suggest you give the stuff a go before you strip her down... might as well, its like 10 bucks for a bottle.
