  1. So we can very shortly expect to see you sitting in the moonlight waiting for it to open... :P
  2. I don't know you from a bar of soap... but I'm willing to bet you have a Datura :P
  3. It does, but it also takes a considerable amount of skill to hold a perfect line on tarmac whilst simultaneously applying the correct measures of brake, throttle and steering... Every driving disipline requires skill, just in different regards. I have respect for drifters in regards to their ability, but I see it as a limited ability, and its not 'racing' in the purist sense... more a showy display of car control for spectator benefit. Which is fine, don't get me wrong.... but it bores the shit out of me.
  4. As a rally driver, I am seldom impressed by either. :P
  5. Nice work picking up such a clean example... I'd love to start a project with something that unmolested. Brown is sexy. Chicks dig it.... Check out this guy's thread to see just how truly sexual brown can be. I'm in love with its sweet chocolate ass :P
  6. 20B triple rotor, Normally aspirated
  7. Good luck finding those parkers.... I've been looking for a while now with no luck cos mine are pretty poo... Hook a brutha up if you find some, I'll do likewise :P
  8. This links several of the above photos. Bikini + carwash
  9. Let the sexing-up begin
  10. It might be a tumor...
  11. They're a rare-as-rocking-horse-shit factory option...
  12. Sooooo dibs that LP400 Countach. Hands off, ya little bitches...
  13. The old stuff is still there, (although in ever dwindling numbers) but you've gotta hunt for it. They don't often go to auction and dealers don't really bother to keep stock unless they're in exceptional nick... I have a lead on proverbial 'field of dreams' on the outskirts of Osaka that I will be inspecting in a couple of months... I have pics somewhere... I see if I can find them.
  14. Its just a polish... but its fantastic at restoring slightly 'abused' paint. Its a very mild cut and it works best with a rotary buff if you can get your hands on one. I use it for professional details on everything from Hiluxes to Beemers.
  15. Whoa. About time someone finally bought this thing and attempted to fix it up... I say go for it. I've registered worse
  16. May I recommend 'Deox' for your bonnet... brilliant stuff. Cheap too.
  17. I have 'the thingy' and its a fabulous bit of kit, but a tea towel will work on the window winder. Just grab it by the corners, pull it tight, and slip the tightly pulled side up under the winder and the clip will pop off. As for the trim itself, just go easy on it, working from the bottom up. Use a butter knife on either side of each clip for a bit of leverage if you need it.
  18. Weren't they a factory-approved aftermarket conversion in the US?
  19. There are small carpark-shaped garden bed/traffic island thingies everywhere. They break up the monotony of countless rows of carparks and provide a pleasant refuge to plant a tree  Also you will notice that the carparks stop about 2-3 metres from the gutter. (note how the pathfinder is parked) This is because if it rains heavily before high tide, the stormwater backs up and your car goes swimming. I will consider your contra-coconut offer...
  20. Not too sure about the twinky wheels, but I can assume you just either pull it off or unscrew it from behind.
  21. It would be helpful to know what kind of car... but anyway In most toyotas, the horn fuse is in the fuse block above the driver's side kick panel. Under the dash. I can pretty much guarantee It won't be a fuse though. First check the connections on the horn itself. Pull them off, put them back on and give them a bit of a wiggle. Sometimes it can be the contacts behind the buttons on the steering wheel, or, there is a small brass contact on a spring where the wheel hub meets the steering column. Sometimes the lube on these dries out and they bind on the contact ring and fly off. Also the horn itself could be full of dust and crap or just rusted out. They do that.
  22. But I'm just one man... and the task is so huge.... 121 bubbles are actually a festiva, so that saves some time. Ford KA's only start 2 days out of every 7, so they don't bother me that much as they aren't on the road. Smarts are designed to spontaneously melt and biodegrade into a fine powder at 100000 k's so they are self-disposing. Clever bloody germans....
  23. Coconut juice, your choice of white spirit (I prefer gin, or good old vodka) Pineapple juice as a mixer, soda water for bubbles, and a quick hit of grenadine. Just add ice, and a beach at sunset. f@$kin' beauuuuuutiful.
