Been a while since I've been on here. Had abit of a ruff 12-18months with this thing so it's kinda been on the back burner. Few things have changed, new ecu going in, custom intake manifold has been made, replaced all the rear I broken from its last attempt at a pass etc. Looking for reliability more so now then out right power. Here is a few more recent pics for those who don't follow my facebook page

I've only done one pass in it and it wasn't making full power on that run. Went 10.3@130. I'm expecting at least a low 9 at around 150mph once I get this power down without breaking anything. Hopefully won't be out of action for to long.

Nope, caltrac's actually did what it was ment to but coming off the transbrake with such force it made the saddles on the diff collapse so it rolled the diff which then did all the other damage. Oh well time to make it stronger :)
-
So I wasn't so lucky at the track wednesday night. I twisted the diff mounts, broke tailshaft and cracked the back of my box. Oh well ill just have to fix it and try again.

Been a while since i last updated. I managed to get the car to jamboree last year for its first outting and in the end it did abit of damage to the rear end. bent the leaf springs, put the yoke/tailsharft into the floor etc. so ive been busy replacing a few things under the rear and made up my own caltrac's to help with pinion angle etc. also had the car on the dyno thursday to sort out a couple off issues that i had. managed to come home with 702rwhp so this should make for an interesting ride next time i head out. anyway here is a couple of pics anyway.

so I finilly got to drive the corolla last weekend at jamboree :) got it dyno tuned and made 678rwhp. had a few issues so it didn't go as well as planned but still managed a 10.3@130mph on its first pass. hoping to sort out a few issues and get out again soon.

For anyone ever chasing a cable I got it made though ats cables as posted above. easy enough to deal with and cost $80 cash. :)
-
Righto bud thanks for that. Might just go see him. I'm not to far from there anyway. Cheers

Yeah figured I'll just buy a new one. Seems to hard playing with other crap. Just not sure who does them on the south side.
-
Righto I'll have to check it out thanks

Yeah mine has a 2j in it and an after market throttle body that sits quite forward. Did it just bolt up to the standard accelerator pedal? Any chance you could give me a rough length from the firewall to the end of cable?
-
Hey guys I've done an engine conversion that requires a longer throttle cable. Is there anything out there that might work and is longer than a standard ke30-38 cable
-
hey don't bring me into this lol. looking good champ.

Been doing a fair bit on this atm. started on my intercooler piping, test fitting falcon brake upgrade on ra28 celica struts, started fitting up my wiring loom, fitted new (bigger) injectors and probably ore I'm forgetting but its coming along nicely :)

Been abit busy lately with the corolla. gave the engine a freshen up with rings and bearings. made a custom deep pan sump and now the engine and box is in the car for the final time.

Nice should be quick with that setup
-

Nar differently not rushing. It's gotta be safe if I do happen to come unstuck for some reason.
