  1. Or don't do it. It's just a breeding ground for rust...
  2. I'm too old to worry about my licence, but not girls in nightclubs. 25.4? Good work Parrot.
  3. I personally would have stuck with the mph. It's like your mum telling you she is 150cm tall instead of 5 foot, it just doesn't feel right.
  4. Philbey i take it your sl dash resettable odometer was there but is now broken? Is it like this one? http://www.rollaclub...attach_id=29752
  5. I bought an aftermarket item to suit a KE10 from the states. Its a Johnson brand if my memory is correct and is dual circuit as well.
  6. I have faith that its going to look just like the Celica. You be the judge of that being good or bad...
  7. I'm pretty sure I have 2 or 3 KM/H dash's floating around in the shed. I didn't think they were that rare. On second thought maybe they are MP/H, i forgot about them when i found the tacho dash.
  8. $134, cheap as chips. Could easily sell it for double that.
  9. Even rarer, find yourself a KE10 tacho dash in KM/H. I'll just stick with the MP/H one i scored...
  10. Check your valve clearances...
  11. No offence but personally i think you've gone the wrong way with the stereo and lights thus making it less desirable or worth less to somebody chasing this type of car.
  12. I heard Phil was making front quarter glass seals not rears...
  13. I have heard Phils rotaries was looking at reproducing these. May be worth checking him out...
  14. I bought a "full sized" trolley jack from repco for $99 down from $200. Havent had a problem with it. Maybe wait for a special...
  15. The picture i posted above is a friends car i worked on, not great but much better than a monster tach. I much prefer this little number...
  16. How is it a defect? It's factory fitted. I agree, it's not the prettiest but it's period correct.
  17. Meh, I'd still rather the standard locks. If somebody wants your car they'll bust a window.
  18. I wouldn't bother, they're ugly as sin and not as good as they're made out to be.
  19. I agree she should have been courteous. I know it's not always possible and no offence intended, but a little foresight also goes a long way.
  20. Redwarf, were any corollas in Australia fitted with them? The reason I ask is that i've seen a very old picture of a KE10 in Australia fitted with fender mirrors. Possibly factory fitted and legal?
  21. What if the vehicle was factory fitted with fender mirrors? I tend to see a lot of old men in old hilux utes with fender mirrors. I'd nearly bet my left nut they bought the vehicle new with fender mirrors and aren't rad fan boys.
  22. A welding works did the job for my brother. Below is a pic of a KE20 i have for sale. It has the van rims in 13' powdercoated black with whitewalls. These rims have not been widened.
  23. Mazda van rims from the 70's and 80's. The van with the small dual wheels at the back. They come in 13' 14' and 15'. Makes it a bit of a pain in the ass to find as you have to find two vans to get 4 front wheels and hope they both run the same size rim. They aren't very wide but my brother had some widened for $60 per rim. Here is what they look like...
