  2. ok well i need engine mount modifying pix first, thats my maid concern, Is he running standard brakes, i see he's still got the standart master cylinder. Ummmm. Any tips u could give me on installation. Has he changed the dash so it reads the speedo and other components?

  8. hehe yeah these headlights i bought from autobarn off the shelf and yeah they had round ones. I got these because they aint sealed beams like the originals which means if a globe fails ya don't have 2 change the whole beam. Plus ya can put bright white lights in 2 make the car look new at night 2.
  9. yeah the VS ecotec has undersized pistons compared to the VN. Thats why I'm staying away from that one just encase i wanna slap a charger on in the future.
  10. The gear boot and console are from a 94 integra. I had a spare 1 at home cos i also own a integra thats been turbocharged. The gearstick i bought at autobarn years ago, It was actually green but i sanded the green off lol

  13. I was thinking of going BA XR6 yellow but now I'm thinking of the orange thats on the new ford focus turbo. Anyone seen it?
  14. Trust me, the paints not that flash, its pretty faded and a few of the panels are different shades of yellow, plus i sprayed the boot and the repairs over with a can lol

Basically as long as my brakes are upgraded and there is the right clearences between moving and non moving parts and I'm running stock ecu with all pollution gear on then it will be easy 2 engineer. Not sure how hard it is to engineer interstate but in victoria there are a few good places that friends have gone to when they engineered their RA23 celicas with 1ggte single turbo conversions. Engineering is basically looking at the safety issues more than the performance issues.
  16. Hey all I'm just new to this site but i just wanna show yas a few pix of my rolla. Previously i bought a blue KE55 for $650 with 12mths reg and 4 brand new tires. This car ended up gettin a bit battered so i decided to find myself another 55. I came across this yellow one for $200 but the head gasket was gone and it was auto :cool: I transferred the engine and box over, doing the manual conversion in my driveway hehe i couldnt pass it up tho cos it was pretty clean. Ok first things first i had to get rid of those ugly bumpers and put KE30 full chromies on hehe. ($20 each) I also bought brand new headlights and sprayed the rims gloss black. Afew touch ups were done 2 the body taking out old bumper holes and minor rust. Then came the interior. The dash in this one had not 1 crack and was pretty clean, I just replaced the brown carpet with the carpet from my old 55, Sprayed the doortrims with vinal charcoal paint. The console was a spare 1 i had lying around from my old integra and yes it has 2 cup holders :jamie: The heater and aircon controls were moved below in the console and hole was there for the head unit. Next i sprayed gloss black around the windows and found a set of 15in concept 5's for $250. LOL theyre worth more than the car. The front was also chopped a few coils to sit sexyer and since then the back has been lowered but don't have any pix yet soon I'm going to start rubbing back the paint and I'm going to spray the car myself (with the help of my beater mate) Ill most likely be going BA XR6 Yellow.   19. well the reason why i was thinking of putting this boat anchor in is because its cheap, parts are readily available, and its proven that in a car of this weight with no mods to the engine that itll run mid 13's
  20. Hi all, I'm just new to this forum and have been playin around with a few ke55's and I'm interested in goin for a VN V6 conversion in mine. I was just wondering if anyone has tackled it here and if so could u guys share with me the pros and cons of the conversion. thanks
