I have a pic here. Just fit my 32/36 webber from eBay, i alao have this fitting that came with it but have no idea what its for....? but how does the accelerator cable hook up? Is there a thread someone could link me too where someone has had the same problem and made a peice up ? Thankyou

Oh okay that adapter plate looking thing that sits underneath the carby and runs the hose from that to the top of the tappet cover?

Just reading through this and am doing the same. Bought a 32/36 webber off eBay which comes with everything needed apparently. What is a Pcv and will the webber be fine with jetting etc coming as a standard webber off eBay? The engine has a 150A 'fast road' cam (so says Ivan tigh engineering) and a bigport head with all the goods done to that. Would be great to know as I'm fitting it in the next 24hours! :)

I've just transferred mine from an auto to a 5 speed in my ke30. It's a ke70 5 speed. Better in my opinion as the shifter is further back, you don't have to cut the tunnel out as much (even though yours is already cut out) and the gearbox mount isn't all that far away from the original one on the chassis.

How do I tell If 12v is being put it?

Well, she lives! But If it isn't one thing, it's the other. The alternator seems to be not working. Yay.

So to sort of wrap up what youse are trying to say... Join the 2 wires ? I'm honestly really bad with this stuff. I can do engines no worrys. But wires, nope!

Yeah mate I've got a 77 ke30. So you recon just join the two wires ontop of the tunnel inside the car?

Okay so I need to get the wires off the auto use them for something? I'm not any good with wiring.

What do you mean by bridge? I've modified and hooked up the gearbox wire that was from the engine loom down to the gearbox, up to the ke70 gearbox wires ontop. As I though the same thing, But still nothing.

Hey boys, I'm sort of new to this stuff. But I just had my 3k rebuilt, it had an auto in it, while it was out I put the locator bearing in and the clutch and flywheel with a ke70 5 speed. I've hook all the wires back up exactly the way they were before I pulled it out, but it won't even turn over. I left the starter motor in it from the auto (as I heard they're the same) but I've tried so many things and it just will not turn over! Has anyone been in the same situation and found what it was?
