  1. Ok cool... I'll have to give it a try... Where's the best place to buy a weber carb?
  2. Wow... Yea I tried asking around today for places that do carbs and they said they don't carry weber carbs so yea... This sucks I wonder if I put a non legal weber carb on there if the smog people will be able to tell... I was thinking about rebuilding the carb but i don't wanna do all that work and find out it still runs rich... I tried adjusting the idle screw and when I hit the gas it just died on me,,, so I adjusted it back to the way it was. I'm kinda just stuck here at the carb part
  3. My plans for it is to restore it as much as i can... I also want to lower it and maybe put new wheels on there.. I also want to try and drift it but I'm not sure if this motor has enough power to drift... But I'm not worried about that now... I'm more focused on getting the carb to run right so i can smog it. Where did you buy the weber carb from? I heard those are good... Do you think a weber carb would help with my rich condition?
  4. Nice man... I want to get those same front coils for my te31 and use blocks in the rear... I hear the ride quality is shitty but I'm not sure...
  5. Dude nice... How do you plan on lowering it?
  6. Sup guys... I'm new here and I just wanted to share my corolla... I just bought it 2 weeks ago for $750... Tags expired in 2008 and registration is gonna be another $750 ( currently saving up) . Anyways... It was a total beater when I bought it. Rust everywhere... Horrible fades interior... Black widows everywhere in the engine bay... Toast! But I bought it anyways just because its super rare where I live and decided to fix it up part by part... When I first bought it Me and my friends AE86 4Ac . Yes I drove it around with expired tags... So all I did so far was sand down some rust spots and do a tune up... New wires plugs cap rotor fuel filter. I also took off the valve cover and cleaned then painted it along with the air cleaner... And for the interior I pulled 2 literally brand new te31 seats from the junkyard and sitting next to the corolla in the junkyard was a tercel with a grant steering wheel... Took my chances and took the wheel and boom! It fits perfectly haha... Also installed a new e brake and brake light sensor and e brake cover... Detailed the interior and cleaned up the inside (I know I need more pics) I got the seats for $20 each and the steering wheel with hub for $7 I work for the state referee station (higher smog station) so luckily I can smog the corolla for free... Unfortunately the results were GROSS POLLUTER... Haha the previous owner claims he rebuilt the carb but idk... It's running super rich... I'll prolly have to modify the needle and seat... That's it for now... Oh the left front tire just went flat so I'm gonna see if I can repair it at work tomorrow... Thanks for looking guys!
