  1. Yet again I don't think I have the time/money to enter this. One day... It is one of my favorite events.
  2. I was told to come back and read this thread (I don't really have time, anyway). Yes it's a joke. Get it? I worked at Co-op not so long ago, and had my car parked there on Argyle st. Lots of parking tickets also. I probably know most of you, but I'm not good with names, and less good with fully sic forum names. Lots of apprentices have dodgy cars, thats ok. The pink car isn't to my taste. But who cares. I started with a old KE36 wagon. Wrote it off and got another KE38 wagon. Put a 2T-G in the wagon, it was a beast. Not the best car, I had to fix it all the time. But a beast and I learnt heaps. I even have to roll start my blue car now because I hadn't had time to work on it. But it doesn't leak one drop of oil, becasue you learn these things after years of working on them.
  3. What is it with young guys at CO-OP and dodgy Corollas? Your all a bunch of bogans. I ought to ring the council and get all the cars along argyle st towed. It's a 2 hour zone anyway. :hammer:
  4. I'm, its a stock Corolla (not even SX) with wheel covers, and 2 tachos. I would forget the ute look. Niel Bates drove a similar shaped Corolla at Bathurst 1000, '89, '90. '91 I think. You should find out the specs of that machine for inspiration.
  5. Hi. I used to have corolla wagons also. The bonnet, grille, mirrors, badges, tail lights, wheels, LSD all come from Japan one way or another. Spent endless hours searching the internet, and either got lucky or spent alot of money over the years, and even had to learn some Japanese to get some parts! Its a pitty it looks so crap right now. The car is also fairly tight, and goes well on the track. Some pay for colour flip paint, it depends what you like. I have never played with fibreglass. If someone wants to mould the bonnet, they can if they give me a firbreglass one also.
  6. Apart from the Hill climb at the start of the year, the blue Corolla has only had light duties lately. I been walking lately. Bodywork still not fixed. I have a new front pannel which is a start. I would like to get the whole thing sprayed, not sure what it would cost. I have a bunch of parts for the AE86, including 20valve. I am at uni now, so this has to wait till I finnish the roll cage. (Or finnish uni, get job, pay bills, buy house and then... finnish cars)
  7. Hi all. I recognise a few of these cars. To the guy that posted first at the top, thats exactly what my car looked like a few years ago. Mine was a ladys car, and auto! You may know my page http://winterpalace.customer.netspace.net.au/ but I havn't done much on it lately. I also have a AE86 in parts.
