WGMG: A mate was storing engines at my old place. We were moving house so i told him to collect them before we moved, He didn't so i got stuck with dumping them and the bill. Same mate.I replaced head gasket, dropped head off at shop and pick it up, replaced timing case and chain on his 22r hilux. Total labour cost $200. Picks his car up pays up and don't hear from him for 3 months. Again same mate. I asked him last Friday to bring over his engine crane before today as i want to rip the diesel out of my parts 4x4. He said yes. Well its not here and he says he is too busy to drop it off. ʞ©$ɟ your crane and ʞ©$ɟ you.

Most are and they are starting to make their own engines now i think. I'm doing a clutch on a jumbuck at work now. Gear box on the floor in 40 mins easy. Simple cars. Not too bad.

I'd fix the dent in the sill 1st. Original front end looks all right.

It doesn't when you're in a 1.5 tonnes of Pajero. Even when i was driving the 4 tonner trucks for star track people wouldn't give me room to reverse into drive ways or swing wide so i didn't have to run up gutters. I hate traffic and especially South Brisbane.

Hey Hey, On my way home today i was driving my 4wd in a lane that was ending and i had to merge right. I indicated my intentions to merge right and a E series falcon speed up and took the gap. I had to either cut her off or go up the gutter and into a power pole so i cut her off and merged right, I didn't have enough stopping room to brake and stop so i made my choice. Who is at fault ? Me for cutting her off or her for speeding up ? She swore, screamed and carried on. Also took a photo of my car as i was watching her in my rear view mirror. I kindly flipped her off whilst she had her phone out. Des ;)

Mount a pod filter on the end of the AFM and seal the Pod from engine bay heated air. Use aluminum and a decent filter. Flap AFM's are not as sensitive to turbulent air as opposed to hot wire and what ever the other are called.

I believe its in the vicinity of 700rwhp.

Alternator. Bosch unit from a Ke70, going on Ke11, Full reco and a bit of a beef up would be nice. Its operational now but want a bit more amps.

Can you even fit a 4k to an ae71 legally ? different emissions and an older engine ?
