Ditto. I'm wanting to convert our ke11 to 3 speed auto just so its better off the mark and can actually get reasonable economy on the highway. Plus its hard finding seals for the toyoglide. My falcon has torque down low but id still rather a manual just to be in more control.

Well not much has happened since it got hot, I got the shits with it and put it in the shed so i didn't sell it. Anyway its time to take it for a run and see how hot it gets this time. Plans for the next couple months. Fit ke20 springs and spring tops. Ke20 disc brakes. Find and fit a 3 speed auto. Start body work, Pull out dents and maybe a dodge white respray. Des ;)

I have a ke11 with a 2 speed auto and it does 55mph in 1st and 95mph in 2nd. Very slow off the mark and not ok at speed. Its pathetic. Automatics and K motors = poo

Whats your budget $10,000 ? $5,000 ? Personally id build a k motor.

Its a lot of money either way. Do you want to blow that much money on a ke36 corolla ? Are you going to keep it for a long time ?

If your asking you probably don't have the skills and if you do have the skills you shouldn't be asking, But yes lots of fabrication for mounts. Also a fair whack of wiring for an after market ECU.

Recore yours, Commodore or an excel radiator. I think Parrot fitted a camry radiator and fans.

I think the auto is on its way out. Vibratation in 4th with lock up but there when in 3rd with lock up

10k easy to fit a rebuilt 4agze and do suspension, brakes, body work and interior. Don't get me wrong they have a lot of potential but to get that potential it takes more cash that the car is worth, My opinion anyway.

I converted my ke70 to 4agze. I regret doing it and I regret not finishing it. I blew close to 6k on that car and for the same money I could have bought a 180sx sr20det or fitted an sr20det to my ke70. I can't justify that sort of cash on a shit box ke70 now. I like them but not as much as 10's and 20's.

You need the following parts for the cheapest fitment. AE71 engine crossmember AE71/AE86 steel engine mount brackets AE71 manual pedal box and clutch line AE71 manual gearbox crossmember AE71/AE86 T50 gearbox and bellhousing AE71/AE86 tailshaft 4AGE flywheel as the 4AGZE flywheel is too thick to fit in the T50 bellhousing. You need to modify the supercharger bracket as the engine mount bracket for the RWD mounts uses the same holes, Just chop the supercharger bracket down. Factory ECU and loom. Motor complete Fuel pump and surge tank. That's the bare minimum and I'm sure ive missed bits. Your probably going to break the T50 too. Search, Most of what has been said is true. Half cuts are expensive, Just wait for a motor or conversion to come by.

Early ae92 was CAS but afm. Air temp sensor in the afm. Late ae92 was CAS but map. Air temp sensor in the inlet manifold. Mr2 were all dizzy and afm.

Like Taz and Ke70dave said. Grab a 5k. I paid $250 for a complete 5k but it had a blown head gasket.

mine are ke11 and early ke20, Ke30 may have it factory being later and different model.

Carbon canister ? that must be later than mine. I just have a fuel line, vac advance and throttle cable.

Just find a piece of sheet steel and drill some holes in it and cut it out in the shape of a flange and bolt it between a join. Cheap and it works.

Thats all i want out of it. Make it a nice cruiser.
