  1. PM sent
  2. Seemed right to me, but I'll track down the original Stag nuts (at my Dad's) and grab the calipers and compare shank size to the Twink ones. And nothing wrong with shiny new wheel nuts at all. 8-)
  3. Just as a heads up - and a little too late probably... Wheel nuts to suit the old Stag rims (I have some as well from Triumph days) - do you still have some old wheel nuts for the AE82 Twin Cam alloys? Pretty much perfect fit. Cheers, Todd
  4. True, I like my nice slow Sunday drive around the track, waving to all the jolly fellows on the side of the track who were there to watch a man named Thomo who kept claiming he'd put it into the wall but never went hard enough to go close... OK, so you did go close that once - but you chickened out. :lolcry: Yes, OK Thomo, I admit it. You have supa mad skillz on the track bro, and I'm just looking for somewhere to park the car so I can go bowling. :lolcry: It's a shame you got beaten by a 1300cc FWD though, otherwise you would have got a 1st place trophy like Mickey & me. :)
  5. But you can flog it to death... :lolcry:
  6. Yawn - old joke, please find new one. :lolcry:
  7. :P Thanks James, I just about wet myself...
  8. Ahem... linky... :D No, I wanted to kick your arse as you were fluffing about and didn't get into the 52s ya goober. Had a lot of fun, really threw the Twinky around and had a ball. I could make excuses why Thomo is quicker but he's quicker. Don't quite think I'm going to catch up but there is some work all planned out. When we're not on the track we tend to bench race - which often takes the form of Thomo working out extravagant ways to spend my money. Mick & James showed once again how impressive the newer Rollas are - I'm really tempted to get a Sportivo... Hmm 2zz goodness. Think Mick is getting a little worried about Thomos times too. I'm going to have to find a way to wipe that smug smile of Thomo's face though... :P
  9. Yeah, an email was sent about that, but not everyone is on it. New contact details are on the site - just re-download the entry form to check them.
  10. Nobody else is that daft. Thanks for the vote of confidence. I can steer OK, just coordinating brake HARD and LATE (somebody described it as wait until your terrified then count to 10 and then brake) - gear change - nail it for that last corner I can't do. Can't heel and toe to save myself, so I tend to brake too early or change down too early and stuff my times. Oh, and for anybody entering - you absolutely must have your entries to Eva by COB Wed or you won't be racing. Check the site.
  11. Hi All, Next SDMA Hillclimb is this Sunday 9th Dec - should be a few RollaClub members racing. Come out and cheer us on - or better yet, enter and compete. Spectator entry is free of charge. The hillclimb track is at Fairbairn Park on Sutton Rd. Kicks off about 9:30am and finishes about 3:00pm. Details on the SDMA site: http://www.sdmahillclimb.com/ I'll be there - look for the white AE82 Twin Cam with RollaClub & Specialised Trailers stickers. Will you be there Mickey_tee (lower the record maybe)? How about you Tayles (see if you can pull out a blinder and take the record off your brother)? Suspect Thomo will be there trying to stay just ahead of me... Not that that is really hard to do. No mods to the White Bomb this time - I'll just be trying to learn how to get it into third gear and not panic at the last turn. My total lack of coordination is beginning to be very obvious now that the car is sticking harder through corners... Cheers, Todd
  12. Hey Mickey_Tee - where's that photo you promised? And Tayles - give your brother a prod and see if he's awake will you?
  13. It really is very sporting of you to take that blind lass out for dinner. And yes, I'm being politically incorrect - but taking the mickey out of Thomo knows no bounds...
  14. Some vids: Some pics (may still be uploading so be patient): Photos And in case it gets missed - I did a 54.49, so I'm still slower than Thomo. Which means I'm real slow as he ain't too quick. :P
  15. A 54.49 - a little short of your 54.31 unfortunately. Shortage of talent on behalf of the driver - not the car (need to get that third to second for the OMFG last corner sorted). So you are still king of the Sh*tbox racers. :P No worries James - my pleasure. Flubbed the start for Michael's run unfortunately. Once again, thanks for the company and the encouragement.
