Hey guys Some of you may remember that white auto KE70 that was for sale in the car trader for a few weeks. Well I ended up buying it. And yea thats pretty much it. heheh, Nah. When I got it the paint was faded and the whole car was in need of a good clean inside & out. The car itself is pretty overrated. After giving it a wash my dad suggested that I polish it up a bit to bring up the shine. After a whole day of hard work I finally got it looking like brand new. Before i got it, my uncle had a 2" e-system installed and had the head removed and replaced with a 3K head. It has cut spring all round and sits pretty nicely. I know I know, its auto, but its my first car that is ON the road hehe. Its a good cruiser. SPECS: Car: 82 CS KE70 Corolla Colour: White Engine: Stock 4K-C with 3K head Trans: Auto Interior: Blue Sound System: Stock AM/FM radio PLANS: After I get new tires for it I'm going to slap some whitewalls on it and maybe grab some venations for it. Going for that old-school look on this one hehehe. Might covert it to manual if I get time. If anyone has the parts necessary for the conversion, please PM me. And also I need two chrome trim rings as it only came with two. So yea enough chatter, here it is :D Cheers Tally

lol scott I assume he means that corollas should have came out with rotarys in the first place as they boot with them in.

not sure if I can make it guys, my dad wont let me drive my KEsev because I don't have insurance on it yet. Wish there was away around it. Might have to go in my mates volvo... :fuzz:

Yea Raven, your mirrors do look good. They pop up on eBay everynow and then. and yea they look pretty good on a KE70.

Spotted a few rollas lately. Seen a overrated KE10 4door near enfield, a datsun 1200 coupe in port adelaide, a few KE30s, 35s, and 55s around the place. Also spotted a rare as hens teeth datsun 240K coupe outside the nissan dealer on north east road the other day. Was the biggest bucket of shit, was gonna stop but said stuff it to hot lol.

Ill try and make it in my KEsev. I might have to call in sick to work :P

Mate just had a look through your thread and mate what a great job you have done on it!!! Looks so wicked with the twin headlights!!! I just got the stock white KE70 that was for sale in the Car Trader and would love to do something similar to your front end. Sounds good man. Have you seen the 1970 Toyota Sprinter? I have never seen a picture of one other then the one in this pic below. See how it has the point in the middle of the grill. I'm not really sure if its a TE27 as it has the older style fender mirrors and skinny tires. But its unusual none the less.

Looks wicked man. Wish I could do this to mine. What do you think the added weight to the front of the car would do? Any negative/positive effects? As the TE27 came out with this engine I'm fairly curious on how they handle? as the rear is pretty lightweight. This video on youtube gives a good indication: Personally I think a rotary would suit them better. Smaller/lighter/powerful engine etc. But the 2TG will have some balls don't get me wrong. Also are you going to leave the early grill on it or update it to the later style? Cheers Tally

Looks neat man. Love the pin striping and the wheels suit it perfect. The only thing I don't like is the KE20 fender garnish. Should grab some KE25 ones and it will look mad. Cheers Tally

Thanks guys!!! great help.. Here are some pics of the head and block... I am pretty sure the head is cracked so thats why I'm looking for another one at the moment... And the water ways have corodded a fair bit so its not usable. The oil has water in it also... And the last piston has a fair bit of oil on it...

sounds very interesting guys. Yea the cars over there don't last that long so it is very hard to find the old stuff... could talk about this for days (eating breakfast lol)
