  1. Ill see how the eBay auction goes first man... Thanks for the offer aswell man.
  2. yep know what ya mean but I don't wanna have to build an engine. Yes I totally agree, I spent a few dollars on some cool parts which could have waited till I got the engine sorted. But I guess thats just how things panned out. Ok yep I understand your reasoning. Firstly, I did a commpression test on the first engine and it was piss weak, pulled of the head and it was rooted. I didnt just say ohh its stuffed, lets get a new one. I tried to fix each problem the best I could using my available time, money skills and resources. Secondly, I don't wanna build a engine for this car, never do I ever wanna build an engine. I never intended that id have to. I was just looking for a straight bolt in engine that was running good enough to chuck in and drive it. People do it all the time so I figured id do the same. Ive just had a run of bad luck me thinks. Yes the engine might be fine, it might only be something minor, but the mere fact (and I said this before) that I will have to spend more to get this thing going bothers me. It all comes down to the money issue. I am moving on, I'm selling up going to buy something thats already done and ill add my personal touch to it. And I bought this as my first car, so when I found out the engine was stuffed I went and bought a KE70 and this turned into my project car. People sell project cars all the time. Why? Money/commitments/all sorts of reasons. And yes I probebly will regret selling it but at the end of the day its just a car that is not going to go anywhere soon in my hands. Lastly id rather someone restore this thing to its former glory while parts are still available rather then me just thrash the shit out of it lol. Who knows how hard it will be to find good parts for these things in the future, apparently it is getting harder already. Cheers Tally
  3. Mate I would mate, but I just can't bare to spend any more money on the thing. I don't wanna risk doing another engine swap. Its cost me too much already. Id rather get one thats already done. price is reserved, so if I don't get what I want for it, it wont sell.
  4. yep true but ive just found it hard. for some people its a walk in the park, for others its to hell and back
  5. Totally understand man, but thats exactly how ive been taking it. Its been a whole year, been through two engines and its still not 100% Ok maybe I didnt look at the engines close enough before I bought them, but this is my first project and I am doing it ALL on my own as my friends and family have no time to help. To busy with their own cars you know what I mean. Like come on. I never expected it to turn out this way. Thats why its on eBay lol: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=260270844634 Ill see how I go. Cheers Tally

  8. After seeing that philbey, I'm 100% sure its cause of clearance issues with the strut tower. Look at the engine bay, hardley any room at all. Would be a sick setup though. A lot of good stuff in japan I can tell ya lol

  18. Ok just a quick update. This project is still alive peeps. Sorting out brakes at the moment. Picked up pair of brand new pistons and rebuild kits for my calipers. Might grab a pair of KE30 calipers and rebuild them as my KE25 ones arent too good but ill see what I do. Then once that is done still need to sort out a few things. And here is the final "Getting It On The Road" TO DO LIST: - Rebuild Brakes - New Full 2" Exhaust - New oil, plugs, leads, fuel filter after these few things are done ill focus on the small bits... Slowly but steadily is the way to go :bash: Cheers Tally
