    Found!

I work in rosewater and man, one dodgy area.... alot of weirdos aswell... great news... looks like they just stole/broke into it for the usual head deck and what not, and not the actual car and engine...
  2. Hey guys just picked up this KE2# parts catalog It has a KE25 on the front. It covers KE20, KE25, TE25, KE26 and also a fair bit of TE27 related stuff, sprinter and trueno. Just wondering how useful it will be? Anyone else have one? I guess now I have something to go by if I walk into Toyota parts looking for something. If anyone wants a part number or a picture of something in the book, let me know... Cheers, Tally

    My Ke20

Love the contrast in those pics man.. perhaps ease up on the angled photos... in photography they explain that a picture taken on an angle forces the viewer to move his head according to the lines in the photo... Id love to have the second photo as my wallpaper (not big enough hehe) and wthout the angled shot. But great work man and the car is very photogenic hahah Whats next for the beast??? please say 13B BP bahaha
  5. hmmm... stock steering wheel??? as long as your ok is the main thing, cars can be fixed you know what I mean... when you mean track do you mean circuit or strip :sob:
  6. on the bright side, the whole front end is very similar to KE20s so its repairable...
  7. dude that's insane!!!
  8. even more reason for drag car project lol can't let it go to waste...
  9. :sob: What happened man? are you okay? very sad to see this happen to my favourite model corolla??? I'm guessing chassis damage... these crumple very easyly... Was overrated az man you put alot of work into it.... :sob: rebuild time!!! drag car styles lol full tube frame front end ill fix that hahah Cheers Tally
  10. What a score man... whats the deal with it? and where is your old KE20 now?
  11. haha thats my old ke70... Basically to fit the TE72 bars on a KE70 you have to have the original TE72 brakets front and rear... For the front you have to drill the bracket holes about 5mm off the original holes so the bar fits nice and flush against the front end.. For the rear, take off the KE70 bar and brackets and you pop your head underneath, you will see two undrilled holes where the chassis meets the rear beaver panel on each side... drill em out fit brackets, then fit bar to brackets... really really simple... took me about an hour to do each one... Cheers Tally

  18. ahh so there it is lol... Your KE25 that you often talk about... Nice to see your looking after it... Sounds good. can't wait till you begin putting it together. Will be interesting!
  19. might try and get my dad to bring out his 62 VW Karman Ghia out for the event... lol and me rolling in the 5K KE25... should be sweet... Corolla's represent... hopefully see some Mazda's and Rotaz there too...
  20. no other corolla shape pre AE86 has as much popularity as the KE25/TE27 shape... If TE27 prices are anything to go buy.... (you can get a nice one landed here between 10 - 15K) then a KE25 can fetch easy 5K in the same condition... but of course it all comes down to condition... looking at yours its on par with mine and I got offered $1500 not running and what not... with a bit of work you could easy get 2 - 3K as stated above these are slowly becoming collectors items... The amount of PMs I recieve asking if I want to sell my KE25 is unbeliveable...
  21. looking good man. I like what you did with the stand... very unique! Would make working on the car so much easier... looks like you are smoothing out the engine bay?
  22. ok guys my secondary in my carb hasnt been working last few months... I have taken off most of the vacuum lines going into the carbie, except the dizzy and canister lines and blocked off the rest... now KE70 4K-C carbys seem to all have vacuum operated secondarys, while the earlier cars had mechanical secondarys. I picked up a KE55 carb which has mechanical secondarys, and looked at the linkages and they are very different to KE70 ones... is it possible to pull out the secondary throttle shafts??? reason is KE70 throttle bodies have bigger secondarys and I just rebuilt my carb so I'm kinda stuck and am losing a heap of power... If anyone has any experience with this please help. Cheers Tally
