  1. wow that is so cool man. if only i was a millionaire (and still had a passion for Corollas hahaha)
  2. ahh thanks mick, yea thanks for letting me know, knowing me prob would of just chucked them in as is and tried make em fit lol... t series aye... Ryan ill see how I go and let you know, don't really trust myself with an angle grinder lol Going to try get brakes bled tomorrow and get a permit and drive it down to the exhaust shop, see how I go...
  3. ok so picked up ke30 diff tonight thanks to greenmac80 Now havnt measured it but from doing bit of research have found that it is wider and leaf spring mounts are wider apart, thus wont fit KE25. Next option is to take out KE30 axles and get them shortened so they can fit into the KE25 diff housing... Have read on here to take 5mm off the axle and get them re-splined, can anyone confirm this? Where would I take them to get them shortened and re-splined? have no idea lol...
  4. ok so Ross was kind enough to lend me his 14X6 Advan's for a bit. Pissed off the heavy as Celica stockies, they had 195/75 tires on them :jamie: Smaller tires much better 175/65, need camber tops though and need coilovers to make room for negative camber :blinks: lol wheels stick out hard lol Picking up KE30 axles this week so can change rear end to 4X114.3
  5. Nice KE25 man! Looks like a good solid clean car man. Will be following progress :P
  6. Thought id bump this thread. I'm looking at a pair of 14" x 6.5" watanabes +20 offset Should fit under the rear guards of my KE25 right? 185/60/R14 tires on them
  7. Struts are basically very similar to ae86 ones. 3" shock diameter. Brakes I think off memory are 9" not sure 100%. Akabono style calipers

    any KE70s up Elizabeth u-pull-it?
  9. because really corollas were marketed towards ladies... were not really considered desirable at all... but as they are now considered an old car and hard to find things are changing and we now have corolla community's such as rollaclub... these cars were shopping trolleys hahaha and the stigma that is attached to the name corolla doesn't help either but the model corolla that will appreciate in value the most in Oz will be the first generation KE1# series
  10. congrats on the buy man! Love KE25s, looks like this one went to a good home.... Good base to start with too!
  11. And car is out exposed to the elements for first time in a while... Will be fish oiling and sealing areas prone to rust. Needs wheels and low badly lol
  12. Ahh fair enough man, will let you know, thanks man
  13. Got rear window in earlier today, wasn't easy I can tell you that. It's getting kicked out the shed in the morning so will get it rolling and take a few new pictures...
  14. Ok I'm assuming what your saying is build it to TE27 JDM spec Either Sprinter Trueno or Levin Levin being the easier of the two as guards, bonnet, apron, grill, corner garnishes and taillights are same as normal 73/74 KE25 Sprinter Trueno: (wing and front spoiler not stock) Levin: With regards to differences between normal KE25 and TE27 Levin: Exterior: Badges Flares Fender Mirrors Engine/Gearbox: 2TG Engine T50 Gearbox Cross-member Clutch master cylinder Suspension/Rear Differential: Struts Brakes t series diff Interior: Tacho dash Gauge cluster Interior vinyl trim Pedal box Steering Wheel Center Console Thats the main stuff without going into detail...
  15. not as far as I know, if its really bad, tracking down a good condition KE20 spare wheel well shouldn't be that hard and are identical, so just unpick old one, and weld n new one...
  16. Main stuff need to put rear window in which is proving to be a pain get exhaust welded up with flange to manifold and just a few minor things.... car still hasn't been rubbed back and buffed....
  17. Thanks man appreciate the tip, will need to get some as mine are screwed lol
  18. Using AE86 powersteering arms with a balljoint adapter from techno toy tuning so it fits snug over the stock KE25 balljoint. KE25 have narrower strut bolt spacing, used KE25 top hat and ae86 struts bolt in.
  19. Couple of pics of the car at the moment and a pic of my new exhaust lol nothing special just 1.75" all way through Front end is looking like this, waiting to replace front hub bearings. Tried to see if KE25 4X110 hubs would fit AE86 strut stub axle, very very close to fitting but few mm difference in rotor bolt pattern, hub length and bearing size...
  20. OMG I so thought it was you that bought that NOS KE25 grill of ebay!!!! You out bid me by $2.50 lol!!! ahh well hehehe good that it went to a fellow rollaclub member though :D
  21. very clean man! Love the colour and the strips along the side of the car! Any info on the stripes? Wouldn't mind getting some for my car. Also love the exhaust, true rotor styles hahaha
