  1. Hey guys Just putting the word out that I am on the look out to rent a decent sized shed to fit 2 or 3 cars in. Not fussed either north, south, east or west anything may be of interest. If anyone knows of anything or hears anything, let us know Cheers Tally
  2. To bolt them in you will need either TE27 steering knuckles sourced from japan or the USA, or grab some ball joint taper adapters from techno toy tuning, fit these over your ball-joint, chuck on an ae86 steering knuckle, the strut will then bolt up, swap over the strut tops to ke20 items and they will bolt in :) http://technotoytuning.com/productdetail.php?p=775

  4. pics of 25 lol
  5. neat little ke25 you had, i have one also, awesome cars, fair few QLD members on here that might know its whereabouts!
  6. haha lol nah no throat induction roar, rather the whine and pshhht of a turbo and bov yea going turb's, was going to go twin sidedraft webers as i have a set of 40's and did have a set of extractors so was good to go but wanted power so wasnt going to be viable. got some 4k-u pistons lined up so going to see how I go, searching for a 7ke efi manifold now...
  7. cars looking great man!
  8. ive adjusted them since, so quiet now man and got some power back! well change of plans yet again lol... selling my weber and extractors... 4k is staying though... how engine bay is looking...
  9. cheers luke yea will do an engine conversion sooner or later. but just mucking around with the 4k see what I can get out of it. Its a learning experience and these motors are the best to start learning from. So easy to work on, parts are plentiful and you can get some good results out of them.
  10. Ok so got some extractors... The are off a ke30 but shouldn't have any clearance issues. Looking pretty sad at the moment but will wire wheel, rust convert and paint them with high temp paint, should come out good. Might get some heat wrap aswell, see how I go.
  11. ahahah just noticed my car in the background entering the car-park lol
  12. wonder who's is that ke25 lol, I think the owner needs to get off his ass and lower it like the rest :P Corollas looking good guys!!!

  15. ok so tonight my headlights decided not to work. my left indicator problem went away last week but this week came back and stays on now when head lights are on (but headlights don't work now :S) changed the fuses few weeks back and they all seem still good...
  16. remove spark plugs, take spark plug tubes out :) if they are leaking take them out, the rubber o ring is probably gone, go to a wreckers or find someone wrecking a ke70 and grab some decent condition ones...
  17. haha cheers ryan, yea goes real hard now! Changed the oil and coolant last night, still running a bit hot for some reason... just some castrol gtx and some tectaloy 90+ heavy duty coolant... Needs extractors & 2" system badly as now that the weber is working you can tell the exhaust is holding it back... Will chuck a cam in it as well and see what I can do about head porting... but need to get suspension done first me thinks...

  20. ahh thanks guys! well after I chucked the 32/36 weber on I had to come up with my own throttle cable linkage by adapting a KE70 throttle wheel to the weber. Turned out it wasn't allowing enough turn to open up the carb full so I had been driving with one throttle barrel for a week or two, I was full aware of this just didn't bother fixing it lol So after I got fed up with the massive restriction it was causing and the power I was losing, went and seen a Ryan (SLO-030) and he helped me adapt a ford throttle wheel onto the weber. And now it goes like a rocket :P
  21. so much cool factor its unbelievable lol love it!
  22. Couple of pics from today, will post some front end pics when I have painted up all the garnishes and grill... car is running good, been driving it, engine conversion still up in the air, its a daily so prob best keep it a k series... and after seeing Todd's plans for his Ke20 engine, got me watching k series racers on youtube like the old KP47 and KP61 starlets KP47 3K-R (3k twin cam):
