  1. ok so I bought this parts car this week  time to rock and roll... engine, gearbox and diff all out now, as can be seen I unbolted everything and lifted the car off the drivetrain. car is going to scrap lol totally stuffed rust everywhere... looks to be a late model 2TG engine, not sure what its out of, but the gearbox seems like original ta22 5speed also got the diff with it, any good? t-series...
  2. any pics? sounds cool!
  3. Why is it a good thing? They fit but they hit the chassis rail, so cbf trying to make them fit. If I run them as is they will just add a heap of vibration to the car. Bit of a pain to put on as there is no room and they are weird design, my engine bay is disgusting at the moment :( Save myself the hassle and get some that fit.
  4. Ahh good to know thanks Luke, do they look like these?
  5. Test fitted the extractors, they fit ok apart from number 2 pipe which hits the chassis rail. They are an unusual design compared to the more common design with the two straight primaries and the outers that follow suit. The collector seems to be in a good position though. Seems to me as they are better suited to a ke3#, ke55 or ke70 engine bay so if anyone is keen on them let me know will put up for sale thread. They are basically used but in brand newish condition Now I'm wishing I never sold my previous set :S haha
  6. bought some extractors today :) just need carbs and I'm set to go :)
  7. lol cheers but why do you hate ke25s? :S
  8. well plans changed again going twin's: need to track down some carbs, either webers or solex's off a 2TG whatever I can find at a decent price grab a linkage kit, filters and extractors and will be set to bolt on and run. was either build a K or go 4age but I will muck around with the 4K for now, if I can find a 5K ill swap over, but for now the 4K is in great condition
  9. Hey Ben nice to meet you, your project sounds great, chuck some pics up! Many old rolla's in the riverland? Cheers Tally

  18. I love finding rusty relics, find it really enjoyable. when I'm driving around town and surrounding suburbs I'm always looking for old cars. and when I'm far out in the bush I'm always looking for old cars in paddocks and the likes. Just the excitement of finding a unique car, that always has a story to go with it about how it ended up where it is. and when I'm not out looking for them, I'm looking for them on the internet :P
  19. wow actually doesnt look too bad lol - when you look at it you get confused if its a corolla or a celica lmao
  20. toyota carina also came in coupe:
  21. ke20 or ke25??????
  22. yes they are the same :)
  23. cusco japan make them for te27, same as ke20 so fit, ajps.com.au can get em in for ya...
  24. the front garnishes will fit all Ke2#'s but the taillights will only fit early ke20's like your white one... 71 grill might have different mounting points so not sure if the 74 grill will fit...
