Ahhhh that sucks! I reckon I'll keep my 40 just in case things go wrong. The W40 jams up sometimes but better than nothing if the 50 doesn't work out

Yeah using the W40 bellhousing that is currently fitted to the car. Getting the W50 ready with slave cylinder fitted then just swap it all over in one session.

Thanks man. Cleaned and painted the gearbox today, will grab a slave cylinder tomorrow and get things started. Didn't clean the bellhousing that is on the box as it isn't being used :)

Hey Glen, I've found a good W50 here in Adelaide and will be getting it on Friday. Wondering if you are able to post up a list of what you used to fit the gearbox (i.e. What size studs you used etc). My friend is a mechanic and we have a workshop we can use, just want to make it as easy as possible by having all the right stuff with us and a rough idea of what to modify. Feel free to PM it to me if you want ;)

I knowwwww!!! The guy has been advertising it on a few Facebook groups haha. If only time, space and money wasn't an issue :) Been busy sorting out an oil leak caused by a dent in the sump where the plug goes in. All fixed now! Doesn't leak a drop and is as clean as ever haha.

Wow your making good progress, good to see someone who can stay positive when you get to tough parts. That shifter looks pretty cool! Haha

Got a pair of mesh headlight grilles today, they are the proper ones with the hinge so you can open them up - they look good. Slightly annoyed that due to the design of my grille I can't open them though. Might do some work with a die grinder behind the grille so the hinges and clips don't fowl. Then it will all work sweet. Until then they can stay how they are :) Here's a couple of crappy pictures I took after fitting them. Can't wait to get her out in the sun again!
