  1. I'll see what we can do ;)
  2. Ahhh they're the jellybeans that were on gumtree? I was looking at them haha. P.S. ouch!
  3. I'll be giving my RT81 grille to Simon here in SA. Maybe see if he wants to get rid of his RT80 grille when I do it? That way I can be helping out two rollaclub members at once and spreading some love.
  4. Funny you should say that, I grabbed them off the car at u pull it and have two in my shed :) if I can work out postage you can take it all for the price of postage :)
  5. That's the one, same as what's on my car:)
  6. Looks good man! I have a spare RT81 grille here if you wanna change yours. It needs a lick of paint and is missing a few clips but should still be sweet ;)
  7. That sucks man, I also have an RT81. What area are you in?
  8. Where abouts are you located?
  9. What steering? My corona doesn't steer!
  10. How come no matter how much I clean my car it never looks like that? What am I doing wrong?
  11. I've got an RT81, if I ever wanted to not keep it original and money wasn't a problem I'd like to put a 2J in it. Don't think it'd handle amazingly but would scare the pants off a few people.
  12. Hope it's still there! Sounds like you've got a nice collection of projects :)
  13. haha wtf. WGMG: supposed to go to AJD today. Worked instead! Never been to one and was keen as to bet the old girl out.
  14. Pics? :D
  15. Last time I was at U Pull It in Lonsdale there was an RT81 there with a 12R. I've raped it a bit but the heads still on it!
  16. Nice! I have mine mounted on top of my steering column but that looks a bit nicer out of the way :)
  17. Oh yeah, mine is an "SE" model. Which according to the sales brochure in the glove box means it has disk front brakes, reclining bucket seats, a cigarette lighter, white walls and stuff from factory. That probly explains why some RT81's do and don't have disk brakes :D
  18. A Corona section in general mechanical :P that'd be cool... Although I don't know how many other Corona fans there are out there!
  19. I'm glad it was my thread that educated someone in the M.i.n.t. thing :)
  20. Yep, mines an RT81 so disk brakes were standard. Like you said there's hardly any around and not much info, especially on upgrades, so the only way I know of would be finding RT81 brakes.. But I'm sure something else would fit! Since I've owned mine I haven't seen another RT81 or RT80 on the road in SA... So I'd hold onto yours :)
  21. Hahaha nothing wrong with an original cruiser ;) I think you should hold on to yours Simon. Out in a 12R or something and some disk brakes :)
  22. Don't mean to hijack your thread Glen. But Simon if you do decide to sell up, or part it out let me know. I'm in SA and always chasing little bits and pieces for my RT81 ;) thanks. Anyway...
  23. + 1 for everything above. Clean it REALLY well, plastic adhesion primer, paint. You'll be surprised how good a finish you can get out of decent quality spray cans. I've used Duplicolour plastic and vinyl paint before and it works sweet.
  24. Come in and see me and I'll work something out haha
