I used power plus "magnetic silver" for the grill and trim on front of my RT81. I think it looks pretty good and close to original colour (maybe a shade lighter). Go to a Supercheap or shop that sells power plus and take a look at all the silvers.

Oh yeah, the factory 4 speed is a W40, apparently you can fit a W50 (5 speed obviously) without too much hassle - easy option for a extra gear!

HA! How did I just see this! Welcome to the 70's corona club haha. Looks clean man! Your right, I got mine to 70mph with the 12R & 4 speed and it was sketchy as! Keen to see more of this :)

Google is your friend. They were just a Borg Warner 5 speed so I don't think they have a number or "code" if you have the choice try get a W series (W55/58 etc). They are a lot stronger, mine used to take a hell of a beating behind a 22RE

Yeah once at 3am after some skids. I was brutally honest when she asked why I tried losing her in the backstreets I said "cos my car is too low and loud". She took a look and let me off somehow hahaha. 22RE's are sick, I just advanced the timing and ran it on premium, slid 2nd easy as in the dry.. Do it'

It was an RT142, same as yours, same height (I rolled choppies) almost identical but I had the 22RE engine haha

I cruised around with twin straight pipes 20cm past my bumper and never got defected! But I think I was pretty lucky haha. I'd try commo springs if you have some handy - I'm dropping my VS daily onto ultra lows next weekend, if you want you can try my standard VS front springs?

Cut out the rear muffler and put two straight pipes on, sounds wicked, but pretty loud! Bolt on spacers are fine, just never use slip on.

Ordered a Stanfred one in my store about a year ago, they're pretty good to deal with and the customer is a regular, said he was pretty damn happy with it! They're pricing seems decent too!

I'm Supercheap biased but my SCA one does alright on the Corona and my Commodore. A lightweight aluminium one would be nice though!

Congratulations dude! And this is gonna sound lame but WMMH at the moment (other than having a kid on the way), I just won manager of the month at work for the whole company and go in the running to win it for the year. Had some really nice things said to me from my bosses, and was really the first recognition I've had in nearly 5 years haha, lame - but feels good :)

That green KE10 came into my work a few weeks ago (assuming there is only one dark green KE10 down south), I was a little jealous.
