  1. so i should aim for quiet exhaust, make sure the car looks stock as a rock, and get it tuned by someone who knows what they're doing with webber carbs? thanks for all the help guys
  2. any tips on how i should say i want them tuned?
  3. it also has a full exhaust system, not sure what it is but it sounds great. (would attract cops though) it does have a lightened flywheel but it came with a spare stock flywheel also. it has twin webbers also, but i think i am going to put a stock carbie in to make it look that little bit less modified. do you guys think a cop would know what a lumpy cam sounds like? even if i set the idle at 1200-1500, and if i ever got pulled over i would just switch the car straight off, that's what you're suppose to do anyway, right?
  4. hey, i live in australia and i am about to get my provisionary license, my dad baught me a corolla ke55 as my first car because it's underpowered and can still be made to race once iget my full license. when we baught it it was from an old man who said it had a bad idle and sounded like it was dying, but for $150 we baught it anyway. later to discover it had a lumpy head cam, flat-top pistons and a shaved head. the car sounds fairly normal in higher revs (loudish though) and sounds like a lawn mower at idle. is there anyway to make it less obvious that i have these mods? i know they cannot physically see them but would turning up the idle help? and other ideas? thanks
