  1. thanks for the comment and thanks to you i have found also the location for the heater hoses.......... :y: :y: :y: yeh the chrome trim attaches to the boot lid via bolts....... they came with the hi-deluxe model and not in deluxe s. Ha Ha i search everywhere for a bonnet trim but........unlucky ;) so i thought to do it myself............ i found a same model ke20 from our area and it was also in a restoration.......... so i went there and took some photos of the trim then did some drawings to illustrate the bends and shape then got some brass sheet, bent them as i want and at last took the pieces to a welder to weld them up..........and that's the thing i have done

  4. Hello everyone and i found this great site and thought to share my work with you.... And here is my recent project.... i got this 1975 toyota corolla ke20 Hi-Deluxe from my next town it was in a pretty neutral condition(not perfect and not bad) nothing was damaged, all were protected by the two owners before........thank god here's how it was sitting just before i buy straight up to the garage and got some items for it and the boot emblem which was made by my hands......... ha ha it came better than i thought and my hand made led kit for rear license plate lights bought a center console clock ........ before it came there was a big hole in it more rust on front repaired like this also the front bonnet trim was rusted out so i made it with brass and the front lower guard is rebuilt (in sl it is called the dog guard....... lol :harhar: ) the original mud guard flares were rusted out, so rebuilt them with aluminium sheet then got a hot bath after 37 years of its age(heater blower) there was a bunch of leaves inside the unit......... :lolcry: :lolcry: and now........................ more rust inside the dash and that's the improvement for today................. i think it will be dead all the rust in couple more days after that it will be getting her hot paint on it............ but i'm still finding the original color code of it if anyone knows it please let me know........ all i know is................ it's blue in color :lolcry: :lolcry: :lolcry: so that's all for now.......... will update soon hope you enjoy.......... :y: :y: :y:
