  1. Hey bud ! If you could contact me ASAP about this diff, very keen ! 0447766434. Also I can't upload pics for gay reasons, but it's painted frost blue, tinted windows, matte black engine bay, fender mirrors, etc,
  2. Wow, long time since been on here I'll upload pictures of how it sits now, work 28 days on 9 off so not much time,
  3. been slack on this build recently, I'm really at the point where i need to start buying stuff, plus ive had job interviews this week, hopefully start work next week, then this car will be done before christmas :) also if i start work its going to be sr20det, bolt on mods, r31 diff. keep tuned will defs be working on something today
  4. sticker bombed the dash area. looks mean in my opinion. installed the tacho dash i got for free (thumbs up) this is how my hydraulic clutch set up is sitting at the moment, engages pretty smooth, just need to weld up a return spring set up.
  5. id like this car on the street man, if it will pass rwc and modplate ? but for now I'm going to build it and hopefully goes on the road if not I'm not bothered, I'm not up to spec ith all the mod plate rules etc.
  6. this is my hydraulic clutch set up, lines up perferct and stuff, only thing left is to mount it to the firewall and put a return spring on it.. whats preoples thoughts on it ? look bodgey or should work pretty good ?
  7. its going to be a DET one day, no question about, main reason why i put box section in there, for easy fmic brackets and piping holes, if i get a skinny n high fmic. but it was just for looks haha,
  8. yeah dude, read the pics title its just incase i do run DET also to make the pic look better haha
  9. cut out original rad support, re welded it with 25x25 gal box section. makes intercooler brackets/oil cooler brackets/tranny cooler brackerts bonnet pins much easier. cut out original rad support ect. much more room for airflow on radiator and intercooler.... even tho I'm going DE just incase i go DET. imo it looks pretty neat
  10. when it was in a silvia it raced 185kw xr6 BA falcon manual and beat it, and 170kw magna that beat the xr6( :S ??) so i just rate it about that lol. but there is a fair amount of modifcations, will most defintly be putting on the dyno after the build./ cheers for the support fellas !!
  11. cheers man, it should be decent. still throwing in the air keep the DE or go DET/r31 diff etc..
  12. before... after..... under carriage clean fabrication area
  13. well at this stage I'm cleaning out my garage to move this project under cover/lights/shade 24/7 so will be disctracted for a few days, once I'm moved ill be chopping out the front half of the car to do the box section rad support, and ill weld up a few supports like radiator and intercooler, for now peace
  14. picture 1. here is the said 180kw sr20de engine. picture 2. is 4k coming out ! picture 3. gearbox cross member, just welding plates to the end the bolting on gearbox bolt motor in place then drilling holes to suit. picture 4. sr20 sitting in its new home.
  15. here is the s13 master cylinder bolted up, with a suzuki swift clutch pedal, and a bit of metal welded together, linesd up sweet as.
  16. this when i first bought the car, sanded down rear half, primed it,
  17. hey rolla clubbers, basically going to do the good old sr20 ke70, but I'm going a highly modifed sr20de, the car itself i bought for $300 running, pretty weak condition. the motor is out of my brothers s13 as we went the DET conversion for him. mods on the motor : s14 blacktop non vvti, 800kms old since rebuild. : lighten flywheel, light weight pulley kit. : 550cc injectors, 8mm leads, : polished plenum, bigger TB. : cp forged pistons, eagle beam forged rods, knife edged crankshaft, turbo oil squirters, turbo block, turbo head. : shaved head, .30 thou, ported, : HKS 265/264 cams, valve springs retainers. pretty quick and tourqey engine. can easily bolt turbo manifold on and run turbo as motor been built for it. may condisder doing so yet not to sure if i can get my head around the r31 diff conversion. have the diff lined up just not sure if i can tackle that big of a job. so far the parts i have for the ke70 are. : s14 crossmember, steering rack, lcas, castor rods, knuckles, 5 stuf hubs, and s14 brakes. (not 100% sure if s14 stuff works ?) : hydro handbrake : intercooler : master cylinder, clutch pedal is in the process of getting fabricated. not sure on clearances as of yet. anyone knows of a good pedal and or box to use please do tell. thats all ive gathered so far, ill upload as many pics as i can and keep this build thread alive and running and not quit out, atm I'm un employed but doesnt mean i can't make/weld/fabricate some good stuff in the meantime. hope youse enjoy it and show some support ! cheers
