  1. New unofficial RC logo?
  2. Wheel alignment done today. Caster RHS - 3.52 Caster LHS - 2.98 Toe at -0.01 both sides. Much better.
  3. Because the stuff I print is all vinyl, the colouring won't be possible. That is doable in all the same colour red, piece of piss. Possible to have it made on a different material to get exactly what you want, would be costly for a one off sticker. Oh and coloured stickers fade.
  4. I've left my job... I have a stupid amount of time and have started playing around making up some new designs. If you have any ideas or have created something you would like to see made in to stickers, let me know!
  5. Thanks mate. Eagerly watching the progress of your wagon! I think I might just wire brush the shit out of the face of the wheels, they're in shocking condition and have about 8 layers of different colour paint! A nice set of wheel might be my next purchase :) I have no clue what the badge is off, but it's a nice touch.
  6. What a turn around! Looks great dude!
  7. Terrific read through this thread. Your car is absolutely superb!
  8. Everything in, brakes bled. Odd noises, axle bent, axle in. Perfect, just need to be topped up a little with diff oil. Calling around tomorrow for a wheel alignment so I'll hopefully make it up to QR on Saturday.
  9. All done - I ended up doing the bottom spring first, then pins, then the big top spring. All I had was shitty Trojan pliers made it to be a pain in the arse. Need to bleed and adjust the brakes, remove front wheel well covers to and see if I need to lip my front guards a little, then wheel alignment - Then she's finally good to go. I can't wait to drive the thing again.
  10. There's already been many swears and zero progress Absolute legend! Reading through, that write up is terrific - I'll get hard in to it tomorrow.
  11. Got busy today, diff is in, serviced and seemingly running smoothly. I had a crack at assembling the rear brakes to no avail, so I gave up and I'll give it another go tomorrow. My brother pulled them out so I didn't get the chance to see how everything came out. I'll study up on my manual tomorrow morning. What bolts need to be torqued to correct specifications? Driveshaft? Panhard rod? Sway bar? Or is it all good if it's snug? I also have to remove the front wheel arch guard things as the bolt scrape my tyres a little, the front guards might also need a little lipping.
  12. Back from Melbourne - got stuck in to it today. Old diff is out, it was absolutely screwed, pulled out chucks a few mm in diameter - Inspected the old diff and resealed the front cap, have it fitted in, everything just needs to be connected. I was delighted to find this though.
  13. Yes, they will change over fine.
  14. They're good mates Dave. Eager for videos mate! I need one of them times asap!
  15. How great are cars.
  16. New diff getting picked up ready to go in on the weekend - I've been incredibly moody with it lately. I was so content with the panelvan driving slow and not breaking shit! So I get mad - then I just go and look at it for a little while...
  17. Oh wow. That looks incredible. What's in it?
  18. Keeping the original motor in a car always makes me a little happy if it's worked well - keep it up dude. Makes me regret selling my van - I should have lived like a peasant to afford two cars.
  19. Spent all money making car handle like weapon Gearbox blew today EDIT - I babied it home after it got crap and took it around the block slowly to diagnose - I think it's actually the diff chewing a tooth and sending the car jolting forward as I come off load and I can still select all gear easily. The diff whine has picked up so I imagine that the problem. If anyone has a borg diff lying around - holla at me. Prefer the KE auto! New diff sourced, should have it in the coming days. I'll service it and stuff before I put it in, hopefully should be going this weekend. Looks like it's time to learn how Diffs work!
  20. You had similar issues in yours? Completely unaware. I'm starting to get pretty damn moody with the car at this point... lol
  21. I got pissed off today and put my coilovers in with the stock strut tops and hsd spring tops. I went for a cheeky spin on the new set up and tyres, it was great. A little scrubbing so I will have to roll the guards a tiny bit. HOWEVER - It seems I now have two problems Before I pulled it off the road to build the coils a tapping noise started from the rear of the car, I thought it was just the exhaust fouling on the diff as I was running 13" wheels due to running stockies. The tapping/knocking noise will only be noticeable as slow speeds and will become faster as my speed picks up, it also is extremely noticeable as I'm turning a corner (Car park corner or exiting street speeds). For this reason I'm kind of expecting it to be a diff related problem? The tapping is definitely coming from the rear of the vehicle. The second problem is the gearbox crunching, pretty self explanatory. It won't happen at every shift, just every now and again. Only seemingly when shifting at medium to high speeds from 2 to 3 I can't work out if the two problems are connected or both my box and diff are failing simultaneously...
  22. I will own one...
  23. I didn't choose the Lugg life, the Lugg life chose me.
  24. Ideally I would like it to be able to catch as much thread as possible and the knob to adjust the shock to be exposed so I can change it on the fly, so an open end lug nut style would be perfect. If the fasteners dude doesn't have anything to suit - I'll take the ghetto route! (Tube Sleeve + Nylock nuts)
