Where did you get the brake lines from ? They look like they are made of copper.
-
This wrecker doesnt scrap his cars, so most of the ke70s are picked completely clean. Like that bronze jap panel van, its been there for 3 years at least. Might still have a hydro pedal box in it tho... :P
-
To build a decent ke70 that goes fast, handles and stops, takes alot of time, effort and determination. And ALOT of money.

I sold a locker to a guy who wrecked his car the first day he installed it. Did great skids, but then he clipped a gutter and sheared off the wheel hub from the axle, flush with the diff housing. Which then caused the car to spin the other way on 3 wheels, straight into a power pole.

Thanks for taking me for a drive out matt. Most fun ive had in the car thus far and was a great shake down for it. Car spent another 1/2 hour on the dyno this morning, pushing around 100hp up to 6k. Proper tune in the next week or so.

i have a spare, welcome to use mine. tacho is working now - was using the wrong wire to the gauge. whoops.
-
I had a go at doing your tacho mod, last night. No joy. Maybe the ecu isnt outputting the right signal ?

quick update so my thread doesnt dissapear into obscurity :P -adm ae86 shaft shortened 20mm new centre bearing, installed. -5'16 bundy tube fuel line installed with a z200 efi filter remote fitting near the fuel tank. walbro fuel pump. -all engine bay electics completed, alternator charging at 14.4 volts. -cooling system finished, with no leaks. I have my doubts with the current effectiveness of the system, may eventually get a custom pwr rad and alloy shroud setup. -and a huge milestone, the car now moves (drop it no less than 2 meters in my driveway, with a milk crate seat. :D) just a exhaust section to fab up, a drivers seat to go

Okay. So after sitting in at home, undriven and out of rego, ive decided to make a few modifications to the rolla. Improvement yes ? Any rollerclubbers, wanting some stock shit, saving me a trip to sims metal, come round and pick what you want out of this pile. The front struts have new pads and rotors. Come and get em.

yep and the alternator bracket on it is from the usa. that greddy timing belt had always been a bit of a giveaway lol edit, actually no apparently is hasnt been around the block or even out the driveway yet :P

I actually converted that engine. Bought it from an engine importer in sumner park. Converted it for use in a ae86. the sold it all in 2006 with a jdm box for 2600 on ebay, to a fella planning to put in a ford escort mk2. can't believe it hasnt been a runner yet lol.
