Its efi but would it a huge stuff around to convert it to carb? And are they lighter then the boat ancher chev and holden? Yeah been searching and looking at build ups for months. Not a small job.

been planning on doing a v8 swap into my 55, just for burnouts and tracks and have been offered a ford ltd with a 5liter windsor and auto all running for 600, i know nothing about fords so hoping some of you do? worth getting or what?

I'm not worrying about learning to drift I just wana set it up stiffer. We have a rally ke30 and contlstantly 3rd gear flat lock to lock fishys is good practice haha. Even more fun when the 2 rear tyres are shredded.

Anyone done a front setup in a ke30? Like a cheaper option then coilover kits andwhat not. Corona or ke70 struts, stiff springs, and lca 60mm longer or there abouts. Am I on the right track,?

Well locking the diff is on the cards one day too. Everyone has there own ideas.

I just added another leaf upside down so it had 5 leafs and it sits just above the tyre and handles pretty good, thinking about 1 or 1.5 inch blocks and a thicker load/ bottom spring for more stiffness and for it to be on the ground haha. Just trial and error I guess. I had a hilux with a flipped load and 3inch blocks and my missus had a van the same but with 4inch haha

just read the whole thread, good shit and i also realised i bought the rear half of your rolled 30 off you, yeah its still sitting where i through it off the trailer when i got home haha havnt started work on my 55 yet but my missus recently got a 30 so all into that, keen to see this finished :2thumbs:

hey i recently brought a ke30 with a 4k in it, not sure what out of and it came with a 5speed out of a ke55, will it be a straight bolt up? someone said something about the tail shaft wich got me thinking, just want to make sure before i start pulling it apart. cheers

hm headers don't make extracters anymore, know of anyother brand that does? wanting to do the exhaust on my ke30, it has a 4k in it.
