  1. No I have't put full weight on the front yet, not sure how much it will drop with the 7.5kg springs
  2. One of a few reasons to increase lock haha. Actually giving the car some extra toe out lets it clear, trick might come in handy for rego... Alternatively extra toe in will stop rear of tyre touching the body.
  3. I have ordered some spacers from ebay (6mm $32) will at least see how they look on the car. I would still prefer doing something with the caster rod but it may just be too expensive.
  4. I grabbed some washers and packed the wheel up one by one, to see how thick a wheel spacer would have to be to clear the caster rod. A bees dick over 6mm. just for curiosity does this mean a 14x7 +2 wheel would fit here?

  6. I have ke70, xt130, st141 and rt142 caster rods and they are all about the same (may actually be identical, not sure) the ones on the car in that pic are xt130.
  7. Struts are AJPS xt130. I do still have my old ke70 struts with caster rods still on them, maybe I could get them "S" bent. I guess my problem is that stock rods are only long enough to be straight.
  8. grabbed this pic from the net and circled the "banana caster rod" perfect thing if i could get it.
  9. yeah I had started to think about caster rods with a small kink in the right spot, has anyone done this? seems like a perfect solution if it could be done... car will be registered so need to keep things looking neat.
  10. will winding the caster back and springing on the LCA bushings pull it away from the caster rod??? a little worried about my safety at higher speed with very low caster angles...
  11. has XT130 LCAs so it's already longer :/ no room left with the fenders
  12. none "dialed" in, the caster adjustment was slackened right off until there was no load on the LCA to install the sway bar links with out any huffing and puffing then caster adjustment pulled up to about the middle of its thread for a starting point ready for alignment.

  14. Need help with my ke70. The front tyres hit the caster (tention) rods when ever you try to turn all the way left or right :( I can't believe how little info there is on this problem seeing as though it is a common setup ke70 ae86 PS knuckles MA61 wheels with 195-45r14 tyres AJPS lock spacer. Note: the tyres have plenty of room between them and the body back and front it's just the caster rod that they hit. Thank you for any help you can give, Adrian.
  15. your ones have S12W cast into them, does anyone know what the difference between S12W and S12+8 calipers is???

  17. Could someone please clear up that these calipers are the right ones to use on the XT130 strut brake upgrade???? have a friend with some for sale
