The simplest way to do it is to just cut the positive battery wire and put a switch in it. I had my battery in the boot so it was easy to setup in the car. Can't help with anything rally related.

I just bought a pair of 595s for my car! I can't remember what your alignment was but steering is lighter with more camber/castor and also when the car is at higher speed. So depends what you want to predominately use your car for. So you going to bring your car out on track if you come to qr? I've got a pair of KE70 stocko's with decent tyres you can have...

Never noticed this dude, I guess i'm pretty good with this stuff. Yeah your general idea is correct. As a generalisation the few temp gauges if fiddle with operate on about 0-5v. I doubt the factory sensor will work with it. The main issue will be to find out what sensor you will work with that "magic box" As far as I can tell you can just go straight from the box to your fan/relay.

KU31s are good have them on my Silvia at the moment. 595s are nearly as good. I have ATR sports on the back and there actually really good although that might be that there 275/40s haha
