I spliced into a wire that plugs into the dash cluster that does the dash lights as I know that would never blow the gauges. It was in the middle plug but I can't remember the colour.

If it still turns over like it used to, you can rule out the starter motor. Did you hit a bump or anything? Shit can come loose with stiff springs. 20v's run ignitors right? Make sure that is connected and earth properly I had that issue in mine once.

There is a yellow KE30 coupe sitting next to my mates house un-rego'd on the road. I've never seen it move. I reckon that would be a easy buy. Edit: its got the triangle side window. A standard impreza is by no means a fast car. Pretty much any car has these day has the potential to reach double the speed limit. As long as there is cars and dick heads this will happen. I also think the older people should get off there high horse and face the facts that there is just as many of them in crashes as there are p platers.
