It needs to get taken to a machine shop to be done. Usually cost you around $80.00. 7 kg will give you a good weight and maintain some torque. But you must tell the machinist that you don't want any more ʞ©$ɟ in it..you need to take the ʞ©$ɟ out of it. Much like boiling potatoes. When you boil potatoes you need to boil "the ʞ©$ɟ out of it" to turn it into mashed potatoes. Try this while your shaving the ʞ©$ɟ out of your fly wheel? All jokes aside,a lightened flywheel makes these things pick up quick in the revs and it's by far one of the most characteristic changing modifications you can do to one of these k engines :) Mezz
  2. Doooh jap,..damn predictive text on ipad2
  3. Gap cars I meant to say
  4. Ok thanks Altezza. I understand what your saying. the LSD is a great thing to have hey. I think I'll get her on the road,..find a diff to shorten and go from there! ;) thanks
  5. It may also just be that one of your points of contact (inside the distributer) is badly worn, broken,or bent etc..check that also before taking head off maybe? Just a last measure of eliminating any little probes before you get into taking the head off. But if not,..then I'm going with Altezzas advice.Mezz
  6. Track that thing and let her slide :) ======^¥^¥^¥^¥^¥=== ;)
  7. Great work though by the way :)
  8. Interesting that you used led !! That's old school yeah? Back when I was a panel beater I don't think we ever tried it !! Was it hard to do? And why did you use led? Mezz
  9. I was also thinking of going for more breaking power up front too guys.. Wow you guys smashed me?? Lol point taken though.. Ok so less work to do then.. Great news. Thanks for taking the time guys :) Mezz
  10. Hell yes! thats and awesome response to my message :) i did think it could be done。have to see what it cost i guess。 if ts not much I'm def interested :) thank you heaps for that
  11. Ke26 are rare as rocking horse poop. if it's a car that you were looking at selling later,my personal preference would be the ke26. There are plenty of ke70 around??! Not many ke26. I have owned 32 gap cars since I was 17,..I'm in mid 20's now,..and it's all the same.. Buy a car that is overrated,..or do it up overrated,..if it is rare it will fetch more from the right buyer.. I have been offered 8 grand for my stock ke26. *unregistered *rust *cut springs Etc.. It will be worth more than this once it's painted in red this month. I paid a good amount for this car myself,..as they ate truly rare. I'm doing up this corolla because it's a CLASSIC.. Not because I can't afford a more etravagant car• a ke 20 or 26 with origanal fender mirrors=sex on wheels my friend。 we must commute though、so if its a daily and not an investment you want, maybe id say differently 。-mezz
  12. Hello Guys and Gals :) I have bought and have been building up a ke26 that has a ke30 Diff under the rear for more strength and bigger brakes I am guessing,(they were on the car when I bought it) and I am wondering if it's a know brake upgrade to slide a set of pintara,or skyline r31 axles straight into my ke30 Differential to give me more braking power. The car is 2-3 weeks off getting painted and put on the road, and it has currently: *ke70 front shocks and discs *ke70 brake booster *14 inch old school wheels *currently running hot 4k engine,(well it's worked, but it's only a 4k,so let's call her LUKE WARM ;) ) k motors HAVE THEIR OWN POWER RATING. Powered by DONKEYS all year and by reindeer @ Christmas. SANTA FLEW PAST ME,and still was able to stop better than me lol. the idea is that I want to increase breaking power enough to have 5 people in the wagon and possibly upgrade to a 4age or Rotary engine later in the year, thus adding more weight to the red rocket! So I'm wanting the brakes to be spot on before I even consider Changing from DONKEY POWER to RAW HORSE POWER :)! What will I need??? *The car needs to be safe *will be a road car *and will be painted in RED... Because it's painted in red,..does this mean I need bigger brakes? I have heard RED cars go FASTER? lol jokes!! Apart from my humor,Stopping is serious business and want to be good at it. So any help on this topic of set up if know would be great..or another cost effective although GREAT standard brake upgrade would be appreciated ;) REMEMBER: I already have a ke30 diff in the rear :) Mezz
  13. Blktoy is so right. Web that stuff and you will get it so much neater. It's really great stuff :)
  14. Those coil overs are great. I used them on the drift track in Tas when I had my s15 jap spec 200sx and 180sx.tight. Very interesting car you have here. You obviously like the strength in the Steel department lol. this is what makes a car individual..different ideas. great thread.
  15. I love this :)
  16. Ok Altezza :) I'll look into what I have. Only thing is I'm unsure of my cam.i think that my weber is actually smaller than I first thought.Mine is made by WILSON (made in spain) and has 26/on the primary side and 27/on the secondary side.so I'm assuming it's a 26/27.And it runs perfect :)
  17. I have a 32/36 on mine and it does the same,..then when warm it will run sweet. I do have a set of extractors, oversized valves,a cam,so maybe this helps as I need more fuel maybe?!
  18. I have a set of ke70 struts in my ke26 and the ke26 is a ke20 wagon ;) I'll put up paint,engine etc pics this weekend possibly :)
  19. Rolla club that was meant to be lol

  20. Hey Guys :) I'm new here but always check out Rolland club for ideas :) so keen to join you all as I have been playing with corollas since I had my first ke20 10 years ago :) I now own a ke26.

I'm fixing it up and am keen to show it off to you all :)

I have been drifting for about ten years now and love the idea of a Rolland sleeper :) Mezz
