hey everyone, picked up a 5k for my ke26, and it has been semi converted to solid instead of hydraulic lifters and what not, i am keen to finish this conversion, could somebody please tell me what lifters and pushrods i need as i found that the solid lifters out of my 4k were too small in diameter to fit the bore on the 5k block for the lifters, also the pushrods seem too short, also if i use the 5k head, with 4k rockers will that be ok? cheers, i am pretty clueless by the way hah

Getting stuck into rebuilding the 4k.. Picking up my twin weber manifol and linkage Saturday morning then I'll just keep kicking along with pulling things apart... Still not seeing this thing finished anytime soon, stay tuned for detail. Will post more restoration/destruction pics tonight :) cheers

Mu wags went to a roady with a 4k 5spd instead of 3k four speed... They pulled me up on reverse lights, wiper blades and drivers seat.. Don't think they give a rats about which k motor is in it :)

Done a lil bit of wok to the 26 since last post. She is in the shed up on stands. Front end concerted to 114.3 and soon the rear end will be converted too. Got some genuine old enkei meshies for her and some fun stuff for the engine. Slowly getting there.. Apprentice wages kill dreams! I'll post pictures soon :) cheers everyone. Leigh.

Finally making some progress with Layla, getting a cam ground up next week, got the weber side draft sorted and then it's off the the panel beater to get straightened out and painted (dunno what colour to go, suggestions more then welcome) then to the auto trimmer to get the interior tidied up :)
