hey guys i want to lower my ke35 by about one inch, but i don't want to cut the springs, or flip the leafs as i want a stiffer suspension, was wondering if anyone has bought new springs lowers that are a bit stiff and could give me the name of the spring and info and for the rear, i real don't know what to do , get new lear springs, or get these reset or use 1inch lowering blocks ? whats your view guys ?

i did it, and i used some spacers on the front engine mounts, had to weald a plate on top of the current bracket on the chassis to lift the engine about 1cm... fits perfect. Hold the engine in place to its spaced up to whatever space you want [mines about 8mm] and then pack the front mounts with spacers [larger washers about 1cm thick] OR do what i did, weald a plate on top of the mound on the car to lift everything. no different parts needed

hey guys just thought id let you know what i ended up doing incase anyone else needs an idea… I'm in love with this setup… the feeling of the nardi is great... Nrg slim boss D1 quick release 14.3 inch nardi leather polished all up cost me close to 380 but its something ill take with me to any corolla

sorry for this really late reply mate, but i would say the easiest would be a 5k, unless your ready for a lot of modifying go a different engine such as a 4age or 2tg... if you want a quick and reasonable power upgrade 5k for sure

ok sweet thanks... So mounts sorted, Do i really need to change my diff ? can i get a Tailshaft or conversion kit of some sort from the original diff to the t5O ? And what is the deal with the peddle box ? another thing is does the t5O box go straight onto the engine or do i need something between [i sure i read that somewere]

Hey guys, I'm about to purchase a blacktop 4age for my corolla in replace of a 7K. To my understanding i know i haven't though about all the little things that would have to be done to make this work. I have someone that will be installing the engine with me, but has asked me to make sure i have sourced all the right parts for the RWD conversion. Looking at all the ke-7* or Ae Conversions there has been alot of things that i haven't though about ... eg peddle box. so could someone that had done a similar conversion or has appropriate knowledge help me in understanding the full procedure of this. engine: 4age blacktop Box, T5O tailshaft options ??? no idea many other things... no idea any help would be real helpful... Hey guys i was talking with a few people about buying some seats for the corolla, iv picked this BRIDE model (EURO II)... I Have organised with the dealer for rails as well so there is no problem there i just want to get some further opinion about the comfortability of these seats if anyone knows ? I use the corolla everyday drive for about 2 hours, most of it is country roads, around 100km/h whole time bendy roads (national park). To get to uni and back. Please give me any advice Thanks in advance guys :P

Hey guys i was wondering what the deal is with wheel spacers... I want my wheels to sit right inline with my body and there about 1/2 inch away... Where can i buy them from and are they safe and all ? thanks

yes iv herd the xt130 strut is a common thing... I'm just not sure if i do that what else do i need to change ? if i get struts with breaks do they just hook up to my current setup ? and another thing sis the control arms... whats the deal there ? i would proffer to do up a better strut but i honesty don't know enough about it.. is there a thread where someone has done it ? haha thankyou ... do you have a tread for your car ? [is so post it] i also love this type :P id love to check yours out

I am wondering if its worth doing a coil over sleeve job on my front struts, and a leaf spring reset with new shocks ?

OK i did that and i can hear some wheel bearing problems i think... il firstly change them.

Well a year ago when I redid the car all the front suspension tie rods inners and otters everything was new... I haven't touched the rear and I think that's where a bit of bumping noises and and raddled are coming from.. How do I go about rear shocks ?? And busher kit for rear ? The rear leafs have new bushels I put them in about a year ago I have no idea about the shocks :/

Yes I have the stock seats there comfy in a way but uncomfortable as well.. So you think some good seats would do well ? How does that go with approval and stuff ? Are most of them road legal?

Hey guys I was going to sell my 7k ke35 and buy an ae86 for various reasons but now I've decided that I love my car and nothing is taking it away from me now :) But I need to do some improvements to make my car more comfortable because I drive it from sydney to Wollongong and back every day of the week and I have such issues as Noises Vibrations through the whole car I want to get new shocks back and front also reset leaf springs to be Inch lower and same to front springs Breaks are good I just want to know if some little improvement to do because now I have a bit of cash I saved up to build the sprinter... My thread to my car is on my profile for those who want to look where it's up to But yeah any help would be good. I'm up for any mod or improvement at the moment :) suggest for me please :) Thanks guys

thankyou, its taken a wile but all good now ... umm to be honest the paint and rust plated cost 2OOO thats with me stripping it... to be honest the paint looks good from about 4 m away but up close there are faults of course. its what i paid for . wish i could change it ... ahah spend a bit more and get a better result. Perfect for the daily though :P :P oh thankyou "buff" quite weird :P wow .... i would LOVE a taco dash thats O.G. .... and more chrome hahaha ... I'm going to look that up Thanks heaps mate Thankyou

Hey guys i want to get a new steering wheel for the ke35, thinking boss kit, what size fits the old rolla ? hahaha and what type/brand/design wheels are good i am thinking something aluminium and leather (fake) ? post some pics if you can i really don't know where to start :P cheers
