i am a firm believer of no stainless in manifolds. it wont crack but itll likely warp after extensive use. if its that close to the rad id be shielding it big time. stainless has a habit of cooking EVERYTHING around it lol

nah mate a small amount of cutting required. youd need a dremel and half an idea of what your doing lol. a very easy job to stuff up and wreck the guard.

thats gonna suck, its gonna be slow. I'm gonna say pretty much any K series auto will physically bolt to the engine, getting it mounted and a tailshaft howevers gonna narrow down your choices. not sure sorry its older than any ive worked on.

no it was over 3 years back. its was a very angry motor out of a speedway car. it was bored beyond a "safe amount" and balanced to within a inch of its life. i had it for around six months then sold it on to a guy, it lasted another three months and split a bore lol.

Lol i had a 4k that had a big cam, etc, had it swapped for a heavily worked 4k (bored out to 1.5l plus the works) revved to 10,000 rpm and made 72 rwkw on the dyno, had a nice even torque curve too. not too peaky. after that i had a 5k with similar mods, tho i couldnt rev it as hard cause of the stock valvetrain. if it revved better might have made more power.

personally i wouldn't bother, power steer has a habit of boiling in drift cars. everyone i know in motorsport changes to manual racks because of this. need some pics of the beast mate!

i have lots of left over front end bits, probably have said nuts amongst my junk here.

did you check it was the right size on the input shaft? repco usually gives the wrong size spigot bearing if you ask for one for a 4k, unless they have changed the fakring listing after me carrying on at my local repco bloke lol.

that hilux diff is a good one, have one of these to fit to My dx soon. Protip would be to take the whole front end and steering column from a AE86 and go rack and pinion. Stuff drifting anything with a steer box, and itll make room for your turbo manifold.

Ive had the same issue (no spark and coils cooking) youd have to have a short somewhere. try looking at the wirking inside the dizzy. my wire to the thingy inside the dizzy whose name escapes me (condensor?) was loose and shorting out

lol 1 @ no axle stands and nearly losing your hand. very dodgy. Lol 2 @ fail fitment of control arms. mark things if you can't remember where they are from. Lol 3 @ AJPS sending two left hand LCAs and saying they are fine... the two are different.

i had 4.3 in my old CA turbo silvia. did 250 kph with those gears, probably more than youd be wanting in a KE70. unless your mad.
