Hi guys, I know its not everyones cup of tea but I'm heading to powercruise this year (the full thing, camping!) and am just wondering if anyone else is heading out there?, I'm planning on entering my red corolla that i have been sorting out slowly in prep for this.

Trailers at home, floors all cut out just gotta get some checker plate and weld it on.... As for the car its mostly wiring now, still at my mates joint, gotta try get there sometime and do some more. Didnt have any time on the weekend.

you can buy h4 and h1 5& 3/4 inch lamps (thats the suze quads use) but they are fking expensive, been looking into them for my red car.

I'm worried my VZV21 camry ones going to stop the car getting warm when I'm up totally up it, though we are going to set the fans off the haltech so hopefully thats enough to keep it in check. as for tuning, just because theres not that much wrong with it, doesnt mean you shouldnt learn tuning, very great skill to have! my workmate has the same sensor, it allows for very fine tuning according to him,, but hes using a carby (attatched to a 10 Sec valiant lol).

ok then so more was done today, ashs doing a crazy good job hiding all the wiring and shit, that man is a wizard of the wires. dropped the fuel tank out and wacked in the intank pump. then while i was under there decided to look at bolting the tailshaft in properly, and surprise surprise the tailshaft doesnt fit. I am in need of a T18 tailshaft!!!

Brakes are easy even on bmws you just gotta pay attention to how they come apart or putting them together is umm fun lol.

well theres no updates cause he aint been down to my place to do anything haha!!! I'm pretty sure the coons nex on the list for me to do front brakes and rotors and rear wheel bearings (not looking forward to that job lol)

righto gents, popped over to Mr ashleys place tonight to pick something up id left in the boot of the red rocket and found him in the shed working on it, naturally i stuck around to help out and we finished wiring in the coil among other things. now that that, the TPS, CAS, map sensor and the oxy sensor are all wired up, the thing fires both the injectors and the coils, heres us testing the coils :D youtube vid of us turning it over and testing the coils! so yeah now we got the ignition bugs ironed out, we are on the home straight now, just need to buy some leads and we should be able to get her to run (and drive :P) stay tuned on sat for said shennanigans!
