I know of someone local who has run up to 17psi. 4agze pistons are ceramic coated, havent had experience with the 3tgte before :S

drag racers in the USA have been using the single cam motor (3tc) turbo charged for some time and still do, lots of boost I assume they would use forged internals or turbo motor piston for budget builds

lol still has that crappy sicker I had on the back. put a 7af in it, still make about 87kw, carby so its easy to setup, I can get hold of one cheap for ya! just need a t50 which would be the most expencive bit or T40 which is alittle cheaper.

Hey tom just go into ABS in town or glenorchy, take a male fitting to match what you need and get them to make up a straight piece to the length you require will take all of 5 minutes, then bend it by hand to the shape you want. will cost like $4 Cheers kieran PS. Ive been out to Kmart a couple of times now, seems to be attracting bogans, and numbers are getting down? I'll take the 86 out and about once its all tuned up etc. Will need some run in time to get rid of any hiccups, should be pretty well run in during the dyno tune though.

nah sold that to some dude in sydney $1200 recon it will get a KE55,KE70 or AE71 diff.

bet mark scares some people with the cooler fitted.

4agte is now in my AE86. think its the only power she could handle, mum asked if I would take her driving in the 86, Hmmm let me think puck clutch, locked diff, maybe 140rkw+ in 900kg of car .... yeah no worries. NOT A FRICKEN CHANCE!

I might sell my KE20 if anyone is intrested? shell no running gear, no front suspension or diff. not sure of a price yet have to have a think Pm me for more details.

Hey nick They have been held up north since they started, I plan to head up in August with the AE86, should come along. If your intrested I have my KE20 shell sitting around thinking of selling it, doesnt have front struts, engine & box or diff if your intrested let me know, think you may have seen the car in the car port? Was going to put it back on the road for my sister to drive with a 4ac, bigger brakes and stronger diff, kinda getting over building all these cars now. Anyone can contact me via PM.

Nah will still have bugz to sort out I expect, can't really afford it till the car is set up how I want. All the same it will be seen oneday, I'll come to one of these rolla meets too.

*Updated* Not long to go now, fuel system, water piping for the turbo and its off to be tuned! Might also get an ally radiator too before its go time. peace out

can't wait to get my AE86 going so I can come up and have a look see! maybe next month if things go to plan.

I didnt see either of you guys out on the track lol it was a come and try day more or less, most people hadnt had a chance to drift under track conditions and I think it was great to see everyone having a go. At the begining of the day there was plenty of spins, not so in the top 16 shoot out or expression session afterwards There was a field of around 25 cars. Didnt see any of you boys come and say hello.... Think everyone had a good day and plenty of fun. See you all next time, hopefully I'll be sliding my 86

oh yeah admission is free so bring the whole family

I'm unsure of the cars in the field but I know of, an AE86, s14 silvia, R32 GTR, couple of R32gtst, couple of s13 silvias, cerfiro I think. don't hold me to that list but the field has been capped at 50 cars I think not sure if all positions have been filled. There is also a group of mainland cars coming down for a bit of a slide. Should be a good day at the track.

hey everyone The fiirst drift practice day is on this weekend. MAY 6th at basky, drivers briefing is at 9am followed by drift practice at 10am and runs till 12pm. from 12pm onwards a top 16 will be selected and a round robin type comp shall be held. for more info check out hobart sporting car club web site. hope to see you there. hey mate Toyota didnt make a engine mount to suit a KE20x with 4a block, they will have to be custom made. T series diff should do just fine, I have one to suit a KE2x out of an AE86 with disc brake and lsd cut down to suit the corolla, its forsale atm I'm currently under offer havent received deposit yet but if it falls through your welcome to it $1200 T50 should be perfect, they used the t50 behind the 2tg motors the KE20 in japan. if you look under the car on the chassie rails where the gearbox xmemeber bolts up there are a set of threaded holes behind it think these will line up if you use the t50. I could be wrong set me straight if I'm not ....
