Yeah its getting harder and harder to find a good rolla these days aye :( It will pretty much be stock apart from changing the 'modified' things to more tasteful mods, fixing up the things that should be standard, and a big drop on coilovers with some sweet wheels. Already got my eyes set of some, just need to save up the cash, ill just use the bronze wheels off the 82 for now until I see how tax return is like... oh and forgot, gotta pay rego aswell!! :S Definitely wont be a race car thats for sure!! :lol: Noooo!!! Had an awesome day which is a good change of events! Been looking for a second car for a while, it bit of an impulse buy that came up out of no where, but its perfect and suits me well. I lied its far from perfect but she'll be right! can't complain for the price :D The car is an AE93 Corolla SX equipped with a 4AGE. Current modifications include: - Half the dash trim is silver (CARS I BUY, Y U NO ONE COLOUR INTERIOR?!!) - Very very soft shockies on the verge of being blown - Water pump which pumps water straight to the ground (Think of it like a Jet Ski for extra speeds...) - Radiator hoses held by multiple cable ties (because drift car) - Duct tape holding drivers door trim in the correct position... kinda - Blows more smoke than your Nan's chimney in the middle of winter! MOAR PICS COMING SOON.

GTi and Seca S2 both have the same brakes. S1 Seca and hatch SXs have the same (smaller) brakes.

Some say that if you have a 5 point harness and a Wilwood BBK you will not be able to have kids... Also Stuart, could you elaborate on that GTi Super strut setup? AFAIK Super struts only came in AE101 and AE111 Levin/Trueno Coupes (in the corolla family atleast)

Didnt end up polishing her today, was a bit busy and didnt get around to it. Pics will come up once its done and ill put on the black wheels and fatties ;) .. its nothing special i can assure you, and to tell you honestly the paint job was better last time, for now its just one colour so I'm happy :)

Exactly what I want to do, except i don't have skills, or time, or monies, or a Ksev! All of which you seem to have (or no longer have thanks to the car.. :P ) Mate this thing is gonna be off its chops!! EDIT: Also will this thing be one colour once you are finished with it?

She is all one colour now.. just needs to dry and a polish :D

Been talking to my old man about doing a RWD 2AZFE recently, glad to see someone is thinking along the same lines. Its top work you are doing mate, keep it up! :)

I think you are making a mistake by ripping section by section of the dash cluster apart. Take the whole thing out and you should be able to tackle the lighting from behind.. or atleast have more room to play with when it is out of the car. The cluster comes out as kne whole piece. From the clear plastic to the guage faces to the white backing... all in one go!

Remove all the plastics surrounding it, top and bottom, then undo all the bolts and screws around the whole thing. Pull it out and all the wiring clips off.

20V swap would be the best bet for 2k... you may even score an LSD box with a half cut! Tyres and suspension are the best things you can do to it though...

Tyres are too tall mate!

...Hopefully its a bit warmer tomorrow so i can get this thing to be one colour without any dramas...
