  2. na thats what I've got to play with.... anything between the bar and the rad support and between the rad support and motor intercooler : 675mm wide 375mm tall and 110mm thick radiator : 460mm wide 380mm tall 110mm thick
  3. looking for a radiator and an intercooler .... anyone got any ideas or maybee to sell me ? maybe something like this ? radiator size :between 460mm wide 380mm tall 110mm thick... http://www.ebay.com....d#ht_1754wt_970 but for intercooler might have to get custom made ... haven't been able to find anything that fits between 675mm wide 375mm tall and 110mm thick
  4. finally brought myself to cut the gearbox tunnel out... now the motors all bolted up .... just need to get a new gearbox mount made up....
  5. i know .... touching the tunnel, firewall and the back of the crossmember which I'm going to cut off
  6. making new crossmember and gearbox mounts....
  7. stuff to do... bolt engine crossmember up - sort steering... - cut shifter hole and weld up the old one - done >>>>> move handbrake back and hook it up - take power steering pump off - replace. fuel reg- oil cooler- throttle body - transport ****ed it water neck - transport ****ed it fuel lines- shorten tailshaft ...- sort fuel pump... - sort intercooler piping and radiator and fans - install v44 vipec computer - wire it all up - install bearings rotor and hub - install coilovers hubs rotors calipers and caliper mount and steering arms - install brake and clutch pedal with mc- take it to get tuned list will keep growing as i find more
  8. motors in bolted to the crossmember ... had to release steering, crossmember and brake mc... all thats left to do is bolt the crossmember up to the chassis. will have to wait till tomorrow... gearbox is a reallllly tight fit ...and took all arvo to get it manoeuvred in... shifter hole will be moved and welded on the weekend

  13. How much clearance do you have around the box? I read you have a 25 box. They are big even comparing to a VLT box. theres plenty of clearance around the box ....and is defeinatly a lot bigger .its got a bigger tunnel been replaced before i got the car ....but its just getting it over the crossmember ...is being a bit annoying with one person doing it
  14. howd u get the old one out but not get the new one in old one came in the car but with this cut out of it .....if my theory dosent work tomorrow with the jack then i shall try cut a piece out of the motor

  17. no go today... can see what u mean about the circular lump :( the motor won't get over the steering rack / crossmember.... going to try get a bigger jack tomorrow and slowly roll the gearbox and motor back at the same time over it so it goes in straight..... or..... anyone else got a better idea?????????? don't really want to have to unbolt the whole front suspension / cross member and try slot the car onto the motor and gearbox.... ill have to grind a new hole for the shifter and weld up the old one aswell heres how it sits till tomorrow

  20. paint striper and wire wheel .... was quite easy compared to some of the cars I've done
  21. bays all painted ... got my hubs brand new from toyota....
  22. cheers its an r31 box with an sr20 bell housing ... yea i know its a pretty shitty box tho ... reverse is gone gearbox will need a rebuild... my new motor has got an rb25 gearbox with straight cut gears :)
  23. massive hole in the engine bay under battery tray gotta weld it up this weekend.....
  24. na they're not the same ... buy a coil over sleeve kit for ur standard ke30 strut .... and take it to a engineer/ welder if ur not too keen on welding.... or if u want a complete coil over like mine google it .... I'm sure ul be able to find something
