  1. is this for the uber offset rims on the dub ?
  2. haha its a photochopped up S15 front! Its a bit weird looking cause my photoshop skillz arent the best. Yeah mate, i get back to WA on 6th of Jan. So just in time. I've got till March till Uni starts up again so i got 2 months to toy with! Gotta try gather all the bits before then! Do you know anyone our way who can make up bits or has access to bits we could use. My Mrs has family friends who own a pirtek store, should try scam some oil and water lines off them!
  3. Ah yeah cool, i got a certificate in arc and tig, mild, stainless and aluminum! But its good that you've got one! Yeah I'm thinking ebay is the way to go. MRP will do a steam pipe manifold for $550 which is actually very cheap compared to anything local. Here's a photochop of my car that i did for some different
  4. yeah no worries spence, that'd be great if you gave me a hand too. Do you or know of someone with access to a tig welder ? Otherwise coates hire might be the go, simply for the pipe work. Do you know anyone who is good for parts? We could obviously trade back the intake manifold, but i need a decent "highest" mounted possible exhaust manifold, i know a few people where having issues with the oil flowing the wrong way under hard braking due to the turbo being too low so a savage pump was needed. Few oil and water hoses, some bigger injectors and we are sweet. I've got full stock SC12 setup, with top mount, so if your little mr2 has the correct bonnet to suit top mount, then well be rollin
  5. that will be awesome once you get in and running! good luck with it mate
  6. was there some different stuff from last time or was it much of the same as the last cruise ? endless amounts of nissans, 3 toyotas and something totally random and over the top ?
  7. hey mate, its good to see your doing the work yourself and fixing it up! Looks good mate :)
  8. haha the wise words from Mr Spence.. Spence: If i did part the Z bits out which would mostly be the throttle body and supercharger, would you bolt them upto the NA 4AGE you have ? I would like to turbo it,its just gathering the bits and pieces, however I'm gradually gathering them so if i end up with almost all thebits i might as well slap her on! I'll just haveto borrow the mrs car in the mean time..
  9. Cheers for the comments guys! As far as plans go, i picked up a front mount intercooler with custom piping for cheap so i'll tack that on, but as far as the GZE goes i don't think i could stretch much more from it, without going crazy. I do have a GT2871R which is pretty overkill for the little 1.6L but @ 20psi it would make 200fwkw or so, but then thats a bit silly for a fwd esp one that weighs close to 1 ton. As far as exterior, still looking for a cressida front lip to get some lippage. I like to keep the body stock and subtle though, don't go too crazy on it, else as mentioned above you do get hassled by the police. The bonnet i have really no idea on, it is a much nicer bonnet than the JDM GTZ bonnet with that big round whopper tacked onto the bonnet as this one the scoop is integrated into the metal, however i'm swapping my other flat AE92 bonnet back onto this one when the front mount goes on, cause this one acts like a nice sand/dirt doorway. The 5000k Narva's are awesome IMO, you just have to set the height of the beams correctly then its sweet. I think it could be personal choice, but i find the light is alot stronger than the stock colour lights. Do you guys have any suggestions on thinks i could/should do!
  10. Yeah i considered Superlites, but i don't like how massive the centre piece is. As for the konig's well i could have gone for them, but again the price tag is quite high on them!
  11. Cheers guys. Yeah i wouldnt mind better seats than the stocko ones. I feel like when i get into the car the seats are going to snap off cause they are so flimsey and shit. Plus on crazy hektik trips to the supermarket for a loaf of bread i need to securely fastened in my seat! Nisrolla, i did want Watanabe's but i can't really justify lashing out for them when the Rota RB where a cheaper option.
  12. Na the turbo swap isn't really that difficult. The motor is good for it too. Ive got intercooler, piping, turbo and a wolf3d so just need oil lines and exhaust manifold really. Probably worth going to an NA smallport manifold also. But you bought it off me!
  13. Spencer: You are wise youngone. Yes you do! I was out driving around like a little old lady and decided some happy snaps where in order. Cheers mate, i know AE92 are not really the most exciting car, but perhaps thats its saving grace. I really never get hassled by the 5-0. Yeah the GZE goes pretty well, it is a pretty fun car to drive. frasian: I havent met you before but i think i spotted your corolla at the JDMWA cruise! Yeah if you do see me next time definately come up and say Hi! update: Just obtained front mount intercooler and piping so hopefully get a little bit more power! Any one have any suggestions on mods engine or exterior wise i could do? I'm constantly hunting around for an MX73 front lip and perhaps some bucket seats. I've still got the GT2871R which I'm always deciding wether to fit up or not! Cheers guys
  14. black rims FTW!!!!!!!!!!
  15. updated to look a bit more respectable! :D
  16. looks like a really nice little car, pity about the bearings but happens ey!
  17. na full 4agze, the sc14 is a bit of a muck around to mount to the 4a as needs all customs bits, if you can get an sc12 it goes straight on! also there is a bloke on toymods who i met with a worked 20v in his aw11 and made a lovely 140/150kw or so and it was farken mental! or i do have a gt2871r which will pull a lazy 200kw bolted onto a 4ag!
  18. Hey everyone, Its probably about time i put up a ride post so here it is. General Info - 1991 AE93 Toyota Corolla SX Seca Mechanical - 172,XXX kms on body, unsure on motor km - Wolf 3d v3 w/ hand controller - MAP sensored 4A-GZE 7rib. w/ SC12 - Bosch coils with thick leads - E81 manual - Exedy HD clutch - King Lows with New shocks - AE101 SS Big brake front end with bendix HD pads - Extractors with full mandril bent 2.5" exhaust Wheels - 15x7 Rota RB ET+30 with 195/55 rear and 195/55 front. Body - Standard w/ bonnet scoop - Glass headlights with narva 5000k white globes Interior - JVC KD602 Headunit - 500gb HDD for all music and no cd's - 6" splits JVC DRVN in the doors - 6x9" splits JVC DRVN in pods in the back - Sony Xplod amp 600w 4ch. that came with the car and has only 3 channels now! - Red and black momo steering wheel pretty Hektik! Made 136.4fwhp / 101fwkw on the dyno. Such a fun little car to own, definately not the fastest but definately up there with one of the most fun. I've owned rwd turbo cars in the past, but there is something really fun about a go kart sized car with a bit of an angry bee under its bonnet! As far as future plans go, i do have a turbo which I'm still contemplating adding on, but supercharger power and the nice instant kick that it gives would be hard to give up!
  19. Nice work man, joined the prestigious screamer club! you need some Z or T power now. in refernce to rims, Man they run same offset as my car, anymore dish that what I'm running without pumped guards and its going to scrub like a mofo, i was going to go +25 and it would have scrubbed!
  20. All good mate! It's pretty good out tonight quite a bit of action out and about and with cheap fuel even better!
  21. Anyone heading out? Might go check out the city
  22. Ive seen a few places behind Dixon rd. Unsure on quality of work. What needs to be done and how good of a job are you after?
  23. best way to do it is take the passenger wheel off also, you need 2x 19mm spanners open ended, you can do it with pipe spanner, but its not neccesary if you don't have your hercules arms on. The first bolt on the fuel line will bite into the fuel filter, the 2nd will pull 1st bolt on tight. Considering the fuel we have in Aus is rubbish, prob worth doing every 2nd or 3rd oil change.
  24. ive got 2! They are super reliable and can be fast it depends what you think is fast though. Compared to a push bike they are fast! If you can get one for a good price then its a steal, it really depends what you want to do with and use it for ?
  25. Anyone else coming along? If anyone Is coming from Rockingham way let me know and u can join our convoy
