Ohh and would also love to see a Painting section So people could post just on their painting stuff not even having to be a how to. but we have like i said the audio and electrical and general mechanical. just no painting section :) that i could see anyway. may be having a blonde moment but i could not spot it haha

Hey guys, Would love to see a section on the forum Like a how-to as such I know you have the wiki which has some amazing information i have found and alot of stuff in the technical builds and stuff.. But i would love to see some how to posts as such. Like A guy who put a vr commodore guages in his dash he could post personally on how he went from point a to point b. Or some exterior stuff where someone can post on how they have Fibreglass'd rust repairs and stuff.. Could be anywhere from Interior to exterior. Or just one big wide range of how to's that could possibly not even be about cars.. Could be something nice at home they have done like building a chook shed to building new ramps for their car.. I think something like this if people posted in enough from simple things to wiring up a cd player in their ke55 to replacing piston rings would really help out for some people. As i feel it would lower the amount of Question's being asked over and over in some topics i have seen. I see there is general mechanical and car audio and car electrical and engine conversions.. There are still quite a few how-to's out there just think it could be easier finding them all in 1 section of the forum.. Any idea's hints or tips to improve my thoughts?? let me know :)

Hey guys Haven't been a member of this forum for a while yet i have been browsing and viewing as guest for quite some time.. Notice you guys have a few cruises and stuff around the joint in sa.. What I'm wondering is. With all the cruises you guys have i would really like to attend. I don't have my corolla as of yet though it should come real soon. but once i get it, it wont be on the road right away. Now the cruises you have If i haven't got my rolla yet or have it on the road am i still able to attend the cruises just not in the rolla? Cheers.

i must ask something and please do not take this the wrong way, I'm looking at a ke55 rolla, and i have a set of 13" hotwire mags like yours.. thing is.. IS it just me or does most people with rolla's seem to put them on hahaha xD this car is amazing.. definetly watching it!

Lol i used to get No looks in my old rolla at all actually thinking about it.. though every now and then some oil would leak from the rocker cover onto the exhaust manifold and bam.. SHITLOADS of smoke.. always made them look.. not in a good way..

only ever got shit because they go ohh rolla like a ke70, and I'm like no.. Like a f@$king ke55 dumbshit.. everyone thinks that if i have a corolla i am into drifting.. i f@$king hate drifting..

Theres no rust in the floors. Drives nice Runs smooth.. Seats are pretty good under the covers.. All electrical things work, has a set of small spotties install in the front grill that look alright to compensate for the old lights which probably just need epic globes.. Other then the rust i couldn't find a fault.. walk in rego for me to.. :)

Here are some piccies of the car!! umm, the rust isnt as bad on the passenger side as the rust you can see pictured on the drivers side. though there are some bubbles in the doors.. Front passenger guard has to be replaced... other then that its not bad i don't think.. :)

Damn F8cking right.. Helped a guy to change his brake pads as he thought they needed changing as they felt spongy but there couldnt be air in the breaks.. He struggled to change them.. LOL but talked himself up to know so much about cars. yet didnt know how to bleed f@$king brakes..... LOLLL Drivers who stop at the first pump GAH FKING GAHHHHHH!!! makes me rage.. so what i normally do is move around other pumps and park infront of them and someone usually box's them in behind them.. i take my time.. don't hold the petrol nozzle on all the way.. fill the car up instead of chucking enough in for the week.. and look around in the shop just as payback rofl.. And the scabbing ciggies GAH totally agree.. people are retarded....

Hey there guys, I'm back. Had a look at the car, usual rust that I'm thinking of just fibreglassing.. Engine runs great. clutch is good no noise in the box or diff.. should be able to get it for 300.. yay or nay? ill get some pics up soon of the car!!

4spd manual which is what i want.. don't want auto.. was his daily hack to and from work and they have a vy they do all the major driving in.. driven it about 1500k every few months with no issues.. but yea.. stock height all that shit umm. dent in bonnet on front lip passenger side could get out with a hammer.. umm.. fair alright car tbh.. looks alright, gonna drive it a little.. rust isn't too big an issue because of the father in-law but yea.. :)

Legal, 400 tops, not much rust was thinking of fibreglassing minor ones. dented front quarter panel passenger side.. which i will replace. could probably get it for 300.. is half painted.. was daily driver.. older dude owns it.. umm.. interior is alright pretty clean ish for how old it is and shit.. so yea.. :)

Hey guys, I'm looking at a new car today, A ke55 1979 4dr 4 spd manual corolla :) I'm a little bit excited and i leave within the hour.. Going to be cool, Cheap price as it needs slight body work but hey, lucky my father in law is a panelbeater / spray painter by trade eh.. hahaha Bit of rust in the rear quarters / wheel arch.. But other then that its pretty mad car.. Things and shit to look out for? ill be checking this via my iphone on the way so if anyone replies i can see.. Does anyone have any major tips of shit to look out for on these older corolla's? I've had 2 rollers in the past.. an ae86 2dr and pretty much the 4dr version corolla seca.. though they were alot newer and had no body damage at all when i got em.. :) Cheers.

I had same issue with the alternator squeeling.. but fixed that easily.. Umm, i shaved my flywheel before i put mine on the road and now that thing f@$king hammers out with its rev's.... i also did the same to my toyota crown.. Thing was a beast.. pro's and cons of doing it is as usual but i think pro's outweigh the cons.. SO DO IT!!

Its quite interesting how most people don't realise when you download malaware (keyloggers, RAT's, and trojans) you can quite easily with a bit of learning turn it around and actually become the host so the person who sent it to you actually has it run on their computer with you in control :)

You could always put up a chatroom thing on the website that incorporates private messaging within the chat system, A chat system like facebook would be one big round head f#$K in the way of coding, can be done, but As facebook does, to get the maximum out of your Website you would have to run a second server or host for the chat, and it would then just popup on the screen as an external link incorporated in the site design. though i think the just chat room thing would be great :)

Theres a few in the adelaide hills up umm some out near rockly seeing as it has just rained like a mother f@$ker out here its super nice 4wd only road, another one at harrogate is a service track as such, though still public road to 4wd's only, bit rocky but nothing i haven't taken my pajero through

the hardware store in nairne sa rents them for like 50 a day, and they are epic trailers, we got one on the friday and returned it on the monday for $50.. because he wasnt open on the weekend.. which is great :)

Theres a place in mt barker, Criegs engioneering i think its called something along those lines, they did a head for my 88 corolla. best work i've recieved yet and decent prices.. :)
