  6. Hahaha good to see more people. I'm new myself and since i bought my ke55 i have all of a sudden started to notice other old rwd corollas.. They are awesome!! Slow, but awesome!!
  7. :( dammit. I have 2 birthday parties that day. Would of loved to meet you all. It would be big lolz driving my stock KE55 up the clyde mountain on the way back.. 1st gear all the way haha. Its normally a great run in my Subaru though
  8. That looks great!! Very neat. Gives me a little inspiration to my little KE55
  9. 22R? 2.7ltr petty?? But they are known for snapping timing chains and also cracking heads
  10. White KE55 like mine but with a front window viser going past the car yards in belconnen about lunch time. It was definatly turbo... I drooled
  11. Yellow KE30? ( still learning the models lol) going down coulter drive, gave him a toot. It had some very nice wheels on it and also seamed to pick up very well aswell. Keen to see whats been done. Had a rollaclub stick on the back window too
  12. Lol different? Its a liberty B4. Maybe the Brembos i put on front and rear from a WRX STI? And FMIC As for the KE55 i keep on thinking about how cool it would be with abit more poke, even a standard 12A turbo, somthing along those lines. But there goes the cheap to run daily driver aspect of it
  13. Pics of subaru
  14. Yeah on RSLC, Evil_rex is my username
  15. Yeah i cop abit.. Always get told i should take it bush bashing, burnout and treat it like shit.. But i actually have respecr for my KE55 and it hasnt let me down yet!! Its slow yes, but i have my Subaru if i want to go fast, with over 10x more power
  16. Canberra mate, cold and wet in winter, hot and dry in summer
  17. Its notbas clean as id like. The body has marks on most panels and the roof and bonnet have paint flaking off.. Typical rust in boot and rear quarters and bottom of doors. But my goal is to maybe fix this and give it a respray in white or silver. Anywho i have put new bridgestones on the front, painted the standard wheels silver, brake calipers red and hopefully getting a new grill from a member on here soon. The car owes me about $600 which includes the purchase price, rego inspection and 3 months rego Heres a few pictures of the ol girl Went on a nice drive down some dirt roads in the brindabella ranges up to MT franklin ( yep, where the bottled water comes from) Any the books it came with, incuding 30+ years of service recipts from the one workshop
  18. Hey guys, I recently got myself a late model KE55 sedan with a 4k-c motor and 4 speed in it. I bought this as a cheap daily and don't want to spend thousands on it. But i do want it to look, handle and go a little better. Coming from a world of turbo Subarus.. This carby stuff goes straight over my head. Whats the first simple modifications that is best bang for buck? I already put bridgestone tyres all around, rear wheel bearings and axle oil seals. New airfilter and oil pressure switch to pass rego/keep it driving :) Oh and a billet full sick gear knob and cassete to ipod adapter ;)
  19. Front cover of zoom mag has a KE20 with 4G63 built and owned buy rigoli
  20. Saw a white ke30? Sedan at autobarn this mornong. decent looking female owner too!
  21. But i did inform her ill fix it up and make it last another 30 years
  22. Thats why i felt a little bad when she signalled me over. Being my little daily/fun thrash car.. I do have a little fun in it as if i prang it.. Its cheap to fix if not ill take it out rallying. The rolla owes me the same amount that my front rotors cost on my 300kw Liberty...
  23. Very yummy!!! An evo will be my next car after my suby gets in a magizine and i get bored of it
  24. Heres a story for you all- i was driving my daily, a 1981 ke55 corolla through some roundabouts today while it was wet, and exiting them with a little oversteer. I ended up behind a newish mazda in which the lady signalled me to pull over. I followed as i thought i scared her and quickly apologised. She replied with " Do you know who iam?, i bought that new in 81 and owned it for 30 years. I gave it to my mechanic as it was time to scrap it" i was embarresed and apologised again. But she told me the history of the car and what has been done to it etc etc.. I made her day she said as she was suprised to still see it driving :) well errr almost 75 degrees around a roundabout on full lock :/
  25. I'm chasing a 81 ke55 front grill (square headlight model) if any has one
