Niggas, PWR intercooler forsale, from my Recently Sold Subaru. Core measurements 570x295x70mm plus the end tanks which have 3" inlet/outlets. One side is paintes black for stealth but it would require a respray personally Typical used condition, small amount of bent fins from bugs These are worth a fair whack too from PWR in QLD. I'm after $400ono for it. Lance- 0419 427 838

How To Disconnect The Clutch Cable From K40
TarmacAttack replied to TarmacAttack's topic in KExx Corolla Discussion
Sweet. Well i got it all worked out ;) My 79 Ke55 had a pin which lets the hook come off and you slide it through the hole. But my 81 Ke55 i had to remove it from the pedal.. Works great now though -
Its got pretty good black carpet and blue door trims that are in great condition. Has new rear wheel bearings. Aswell and bridgestone tyres all round. My mate has first dibs on it. But if he doesnt want it. Ill get $50 from EZ scrap for it. But i think it will be crushed since the roof and panels are damaged. Its ar my mates house and needs to go this week! If you want the parts you can pull them out yourself :) 0419 427 838

Allclassifieds is where i have gotten my first rolla from. After it died i drove around canberra suburbs looking out the front or down peoples driveways for old KE model corollas. I asked 4 people about the ones i found and theyveither can't affore to sell (only car) or they are completely fugged!! But i got lucky with one and found one in great condition and hassled them for 2 months.. Eventually they caved in (2 days before christmas).

All good guys , i worked it out :) I disconnected it from the pedal and pulled it through -
Hey guys, I'm in the middle of doing an engine swap on my ke55. I undid the circlip on the front side of the engine block, and unhooked it from the fork. But how do i pull the cable through the hole when the big metal hook thing is on the end??
-
No engine :) Decided to give the headlight panel a respray, as 32yrs of bugs and grim had weathered it away. Resprayed the front bar :)

Cheers mate, if the people i got this off didnt want to sell i would of been down to grab your KE36 next week :) After treating the last one probarly abit too rough (khanacross's, dirt roads, drifting in the wet, water crossings etc) I have decided to keep this one fairly standard and put some pride an effort into it. Its got minute rust( only a 10cm bit on the boot seal, and some surface stuff under the numberplate area) which is easily repairable. Its going to be my daily aswell as a nice cruiser that holds its own when out and about. As i have my fun/fast car in the shed. I'm going to pull the stereo out of the old one and transfer it over and make up a new subbox. Aswell as 4" speakers in the front door and splits in the rear. Its got a sweet factory leather steering wheel cover which is woven all the way around by leather straps which i have no idea how to get off, so its staying on :) I may make up my own 2" exhaust and get the front struts bend 1-2 degrees. I'm unsure whether to lower it or not though.. So ill decide that later.. Anyway tomorrow is the day i pull the motor out of this one and the aim is to have the thing insured and registed by next thursday intime for the summernats cruise :) Ill let you all know how i go and take lots of pics.. Peace

Hey doods, After the death of my last KE55 sedan at a khanacross i was in search for another one. In a little country towm outside of canberra i found this: Its a 1979 KE55 sedan and its awesome! Another granny car but an apprentice mechanic was doing a headgasket and snapped a headbolt and they ceased opperations. So after weeks of me going to for a drive again and again i finally got them to sell it :) So the plan is to put my motor in it and make it very nice.. Teaser pics.. No cracks here

Car is a KE55 and I'm pretty sure the 5 speed is from a 35/55. I still gotta ask he guy who has it. I thought that would of been the case with the 70 stuff. Cheers guys

Hey doods, Converting my 4 spees to a 5 speed soon. Is there any changes that ill need to do? EG: starter motor, clutch, flywheel, tailshaft, gearbox mount, reverse/neutral switch, shifter???? Or is it all the same? Cheers Lance

I have a basket full of them from when i was born.. I never treated them like crap or in dirt. I have a track for them which you can make and change. Aswell as towers etc for them. The only one i have still in the box is a 2005 Subaru impreza STI WRC car Solberg/Mills. I have a HDT VS V8 supercar aswell but i liked playing with it too much

Lol really? Who would steal a pod filter though

Dead right.. I spun at wake field at 140 and just went onto the grass. The only thing you have to look out for is the traffic light stands on the infield. Or if your a muppet and try to drift the last corner and clip the pit wall. Its the best fun out there but have decent pads and fluid or its just no fun
