gday, rebuilding the engine in the rolla, had the head shaved and cleaned out, was wondering if there was a certain torque rating for the bolts on the rockers, have no rebuild manual so a bit unsure :) any help is appreciated

Sorry bout the late update, have fixed the problem, was a spring inside the combination switch, had compressed and not come back up not letting the terminals touch to send power to the relay and back to the lights, stretched the spring out and all seems to be working now, Thanks for all your help guys :)

anyone know of a cheap, good auto elec in adelaide, don't really know how to get to the combination switch, really need it done tho :bash:

all housing bolts now tighter than a nuns asshole,and still nothing, have even changed all bulbs in the dash, really dunno what else to do?? :bash:

Jus had the front indicator housing out and tightened it fair tight against the car, is there and earthing part for the rear light housing

Scrap the reverse working on left, replaced globes and fuses all round, left side brake is only thing working on left side...., with the dash out what wires am i testing for earth, and how do i test em, sorry for all the questions, jus I'm not a sparky but i want this stuff fixed asap

brakes and reverse are fine on both sides, head lights work perfectly, not dim or anything, jus left side indicators that have called it quits, changed the bulbs over on the indicators and still nothing

wouldnt happen to have a wiring diagram :) or some way of telling me what I'm looking for, both the front and rear indicator lights arent coming on, and the dash light is staying off as seen in the video, would that be due to a earth problem or to hard to say ??

gday, to top the brake issues off, now having trouble getting the indicators working properly, right side was working perfectly but had nothing coming from the left, replaced the flasher relay (can), and the right still works fine but the left clicks a few times, really slowly then jus clicks at random every now and then when the left indicators are SUPPOSED to be on.... know its a long shot but if anyone has had the same problem any help on the subject would be greatly appreciated :) video to show whats happening :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_QzSUaFuhY

hmmmm, might of been the one, found this one on gumtree only recently soooo not sure :P .... as for the lines, if i have a stress point or crack, is that gonna mean entire replacement of the line, and if so is that gonna be a costly repair? if anyone knows :)

Cheers for the info guys, the pedal does pump back up, jus goes all the way to the floor, hoping to god its jus air in the lines, would be an easier fix then finding a new master cylinder :glare: now jus gotta find someone to gimme a hand bleeding the brakes :P

gday :), today bought my first rolla, 1969 KE10, love it to death, however, shes a little rough around the edges, all fixable in good time :) Was unable to test drive the car as was unregistered, and much to my dissapointment, only realised the BRAKES don't WORK, once i got her home, off the trailer and into the driveway -_- foolish on my end i know but either way i need them fixed ASAP cause i want her back on the road. to get to the point, i was wondering if anyone in the adelaide area would be willing to lend a hand gettin em fixed [ possible reward :) ] or if anyone from the rolla community could give their knowledge on the subject. Pedal drops to the floor, no brake action at all it seems. have considered the master cylinder or leaking lines as the culprit, but don't have a huge amount of know how on braking systems :bash: any help would be greatly appreciated :) :y: thanks :y: few pics also ( taken with pro camera sooooo resolution kinda high, probly take ages to load em as big pics :blush: )

Gday :) Looking at buyin a 55 rolla at tho mo however, the speedo is way off Apparently has a K40 box in there was told i would have to change the speedo drive to get accurate readings again was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers as to what speedo drive would get her working and how hard and costly it could be any help appreciated, Cheers :happy:
