yeah well I'm not looking forward to the wait, only just started my apprenticeship, now I'm busing it, puts an extra 2 hours a day on transport -_- after 6months with my dream car

yeah, but they told me it wasnt covered like that. they said regardless of what i paid, they would only pay what they considered market value and then i would be tasked with dealing with the wreck after that. Total assholes in my opinion

i was un insured, the guy who hit me only had third party, and the insurance company deemed a ke26 to be worth $700 at the most so thats what I'm left with

sooooooo.............. had a really shit week last week!! Yeah, was there scrounging for some parts for the missus' car, and some racks for the wagon, saw some perfect guttermount chrome ones, but they were in the 'to-be-processed' yard :'( they were so close haha

Yeah grill corners are in the plan, i have a set of new ones, but i wanna hold off putting them on until i can afford some rust repair and respray

Cheers fellas, yeah was bought like this, however within the first week of getting her home, the alternator bearings went, voltage regulator with it, so the battery then went :D was frustrating, don't think she was ready to change homes just yet. But after a clean up, tune and replacing the bung parts she came up nicely and drives like a dream. Its the original colour but had a respray bout two years ago (Closed door job) Still has original paint on the interior, which looks pretty shmick :D Unfortunately some bubbles are starting to form around the bottom of the tail gate and the hood :( all in the fix-up plan i suppose

Gday, Love the new skin for the site however, i think taking the state filter away from the for sale section is a bit of a pain, due to half of the cars for sale not advertising the state in the title. which in turn makes it difficult to search through cars that are actually available to me. Gday, Have been trying to decide on the colour to paint my rolla as her exterior has seen much better days :) i have thought about either a total strip and painting it in british racing green, or respraying her in the colour it currently is, however i don't know for the life of me whether or not the colour on there now is a factory spray, if anyone has any information to share on this it would be most appreciated :)

oh and to answer the questions, bought the car with the pedal dropping to the floor, bleeding the brakes was the first time i got any braking action at all :)

Had the drums off the other day and found that all the slave cylinders were leaking like mad. Guessing the explains my braking problems. Can i send these in for a re-kit or is it possible to get new ones ?? if anyone knows

Gday, having some issues with the rolla, i had bled the brakes all round as the pedal was dropping to the floor with no braking action at all, now that i have bled the brakes, they are 'working' but only very slightly, the pedal is rock hard and will hardly move, no matter how hard i push on the pedal i seem to get no difference in braking. Reversing out the driveway i can hardly stop the car. If anyone has had the same problem and knows how to resolve it, i would be greatful for any information on it :) cheers
