  1. Was that the $250 one?
  2. Exactly, nice clear mind with no one around is the best tool.
  3. Everything apart from the blower itself has HKS stamped on it, the blower just had a HKS sticker. All the machinery comes in real handy, good when I can just go in by myself and beaver away on things. Are you being modest?
  4. I forgot to get a final pic of the intake 2nd cut so I remembered today. Also got onto the alternator and blower brackets. Before blasting and painting: Alternator bracket idler had some wear in it: So I put it in the lathe: And machined it down: And the finished result:
  5. Another local, Bris or Ippy?
  6. Looking good Matt.
  7. Must be a fresh interior if you got the A pillar trim off without it crumbling.
  8. Cheers for the info but it is aqua blasted. We have an air over wet bead blaster but the item still has to be coated or it will be pourous.
  9. Looks like a good outcome to a common issue.
  10. Did the second cut on my valves today as I will be running 2 angle. Pic shows difference of 1 and 2 cut on the intake side, other pic is exhaust.
  11. What have I done? I am going into work tomorrow to do a few things to it all and I will do a 2nd cut on the valves as I am going 2 angle.
  12. Yeah it has, the last was after a long restoration. Full story is posted on here.
  13. Only time a facet gets noisy is when it is trying for fuel, the one I fitted the other day came with a filter to screw in.
  14. Why you need 5 studs is beyond me. Reckon you could get away with a redrill of your axles and hubs.
  15. I have actually worked on Peters MA61, it ended up turning up on the weekend.
  16. I was toying around with the idea of having the blower setup polished but it will be too much maintenance so I wanna paint it in the aluminium that I did my old T50, I thought I found the paint but it is too dull: (Polished the lettering but not happy with the paint) What I want it to look like: I think it is blower tear apart time tomorrow :)
  17. Will be good to see the end result. I was hoping to see the old Williamson RA40 last weekend but it didn't show up.
  18. Have done a few more things like strip the head, buff and cut the valves etc. Before: After:
  19. As I said, ring the number above.
  20. All sorted, cheers carbonboy.
  21. Funnily enough, I actually need the non Twincam version. Yes, I still have mono cams :P
  22. I am doing a few things to my 82 GT project and one of the things I wanna fix so I can drive it before the conversion is the temp and fuel gauge because when the ignition is on or the car is running the gauges go straight to full or hot. Now my understanding is an earthing issue but my toyota manuals list 2 different diagrams and both don't seem correct. I am hoping that the Gregory's has a wiring diagram and that someone can scan it or what not as that will relate to the Australian 82. Cheers.
  23. Give us a call, we are currently doing a 5E. Road & Track - Terry 32018866
