what are we looking at in terms of original factory weight of a ke70?

would have to give dion all the credit, the last thing i did was attempt to take th windows out & lost it within two seconds.. veeerrry proud of how my babe is looking these days :dance:

so he's finally taken the chromey's off, but haven't got round to putting the white rims back on yet because we rolled the rear quarters. another plus is this is the only rust we could find :dance: But there's a few dints :glare: & while dion was doing all the easy work.. I was hard at work :wink: my baby looks soo molested from the front.. but she's still soo sexy from the back :wink: doors to come off next when it comes time to paint.. priming it tomorrow hopefully :happy:

some piccys (: check out the mess we found under the paint of the rear quarter, Dion is going to try and get it straight as possible without using too much body filler. Haven't Done to much really but as the weather has been terrible :n:

So Dion is taking all hanging panels off, and painting them off the car. rolled the guards today and finished filling in all the badge holes.. wont be long and Rosie will be Ford XR5 Electric Orange, with Purple pearl added :dance:

lucky it's not your car than hey boys & seeing as we're the ones doing the work on the car, i'd say it's pretty fair i put whatever sticker i want on MY dash - but thanks for the input ;)

sorry to start on such an old thread, but i was just wondering if someone could tell me what grill he used? as i want one for my little ke55., is it very hard to change to this style of grill? thankyou in advance (:

vinyl died the rest of the dash pieces today, the reason so much was sanded off the fascia is i accidentally sanded some of the ring off surrounding the clock, so i just sanded the rest of them off lol. didnt have any bog so had to make do using fibre glass resin as filler :blush: has a few pin holes but oh well. sorry about the quality of the pics, only had a mobile :P

soo th cars coming along perfect (: just gota do a few more minor things than start on th motor.. gota give it up to my boyfriend but - seeing as ive been taking most ov th credit when hes been th one doing all th work :b

so i got around to buying a decent staple gun so i could re trim th rest of my door cards, made it a million times easier. we are only using old carpet underlay as foam just to save a bit of money, it works pretty well and makes them heaps spongey, also layed heaps of underlay down under the seats and anywhere we could to make it a bit quieter inside the car while driving, and glued some sound deadening stuff into the insides of the doors to make the stereo sound better.. only got two more door cards done as one of th cards was mouldy and falling apart :/ so we will hav to cut out a new one tomorrow when we do the parcel shelf, than after that we decided to re trim th boot while we are going as we have about 5 metres of vinyl lol :P also looking at buying some fibre glass and doing a custom boot/sub install hehe and ov course heres some picts of our hard work, what do you guys think? (: sorry about the crappy quality pict i only had a phone on me.. dunno if you's noticed but we got rid of the ash trays too (: and i'm just about to get the sewing machine out and stitch together some pieces for th little bit next to th rear seat (where th wheels go)

yea we had a look last night at the knox site & it is pretty cheap for moulded carpet , we are going to be cheap & save a bit of money & use some old carpet under-lay we had left over from ripping up old house carpet (:

i don't know what ive done, but can somebody delete this one for me cause i posted it twice..

So my boyfriend recently bought me this beasty little ke55 & ive christened her ROSIE th rolla. The first thing i wanted to get out ov th way was th interior - which was standard factory black vinyl & brown carpet. & & By th time i got everything out, she jus looked so bare.. I havent gotten around to th carpet yet, but th interior came up better than id hoped.. It came with no stereo & th wiring was soo dodgey.. but after a few hours & alot ov patience i managed to fit my stereo in & rewire my speakers so that now it actually sounds decent.. It took a day to do th dash & side & back pillar trims, so th next day i did my door trim & I'm not a hudred % happy with it but itll do until i get abit more practice. I want to put flames coming up from th bottom ov th door trim, but that will take alot ov practice until i feel comfy doing it - this is my first attempt.. thoughts?

hahah, yeea my boyfriend suggested i start up my own account because i kept wanting to take over his, so thats probably where youve seen a little glimpes ov her before.. but i will make my own (: & nah i live in cootamundra, reginal NSW at th moment but hoping to moving to th sunshine coast when i get my licence & yeea i know callan aswell. thaanks so much guys for th help so far & i hope you like th changes you see in my baby in th future (:

my boyfriend suggested i set up an account on this so that i can get some ideas on my new little ke55, so ill be relying on this site for help with what i wana do & i will probably pop up alot asking dumb questions - so jus go abit easy if i make a stuff up or say something dumb, cause i am only new. i will keep you guys up to date with my progress & how I'm going & i look forward to getting to know some of you that have fixed up your own rollas.. this is her - my little ke55, ROSIE
