had to rethink my colour the ford focus wasnt what i wanted at was real dull if it wasnt in the light and for 4 litres was about $950!!! one of the pearls was about $500 for 400ml couldnt belive it so now I'm thinkin xr6 blue with awsum metallic! this is gota bethe colour casue the engine bay is gettin sprayed on sat! such a hard choice!

its definitely worth it but pending on how far you want to go and how deep ya pockets are.. just think powerful engine, stronger diff,bigger brakes, buying the engine putting it in intercooler it adds up. johnnyt

Here is the front of my new rolla.. my plan was to put the k55 front on it but it doesn't have the mounts to mount the 55 headlights! ;) so i decided to stick with the ke30 look now. what is everyone's view of the front of my 30? i had to cut the bottom half of the grill out because of the way he the intercooler is mounted .sorta sucks cause now its not so much of a sleeper.which i first wanted but i didn't have a choice anyways tell me what ya think thanks johnnyt

ive been flat out over the last couple of days here is my progress! ive put brand new monroe gt gas shockies in, whiteline sway bar. and a fresh coat of paint on the diff. also today i took the engine out and cleaned it ready for the painters to do there thing! should have it to them around the 2nd of jan get it bak mid-late feb to put the SR bak in!(finally) ;)

just found an AWSUM site that tells you how to construct these caltracs! http://www.hotrodsandhemis.com/Traction.html what is the advantage of having the rod adjustable? also with the commo pan hard rod can you cut them and weld them back at the right length?? or what is the best way of doin that?? johnnyt

i have to change the brakes to get it complied but everything else will be stock but everything new. sway bars shocks ect. i got my new rolla yesterday already stripped my old rolla i wont start pullin my new one apart till just afta chrissie. can't wait ill post sum pics soon i just gota find my camera. johnnyt

hey not sure if anyone knows but its worth askin.. i want a lsd for my 1983 mazda b2000 ute just wondering if anyone knows what would fit or what the easyiest solution is besides a locker. I'm not sure if a newer mazda lsd would fit...let me know your suggestion thanks johnnyt

went and had look at my rolla close up 2day! holy F$%k those holes are nuthin in the photo they are huge not worth chuckin money at so I'm gonna get a new rolla ive got my eye on a ke30 not far from me i went and saw him today and asked if he would part with it he is gonna let me know hopefully he cums good cause the wheel arches were perfect! lil rust spost and dents in places but heaps beta than mine only time will tell! johnnyt

just had a big set back the panel beaters have got bak to me and the rust in the bak wheel arches and on the bottom of each quarter panels are to much to fix and if they fibreglass it. the chances of it cracking and wreck my paint job.so I'm lookin for another ke55 and i can just swap everything over to it! but has delayed all my plans!was working on it putin the engine back in over the Christmas break but now its not lookin good :jamie: see what happens will let you know if anyone has any suggestions feel free to let me know thanks johnnyt

oh ok thanks ill have to get one and have a look at it to see what i have to do.. thanks mate it would nearlly be on the road but i had big troubles with the old spray painter/panel beater.. but should have it bak around christmas to put engine in and get it wired :) can't wait ill keep pics posted!! the price for me i hate to say it but to give you an over view of my project.. $4000 for half cut $7000 to get it put in with intercooler exaust $2600 to get diff rebuilt and put in (hilux disc lsd) $1800 front struts and brakes (r32 4 pot on celica ra40 struts 285mm disc) thats a few big expenses ive got all new sway bars shocks top mount turbo manifold and t3 t4 turbo and new wheels tacho dash. aftermarket computer ect so including all that + more when its painted and wired up i would prob have spent $27,000 ish just depends how far you wanna go and how much $$$ you have or if your willing to work for it! hope this gave you a fair idea johnnyt

personally i rekon 4age bit later on once you have ur licence for a lil while the money ur gonna spend on a 1.2 or a 1.3 they might rev but they don't go real hard... i rekon if ya gonna do it properly do it the first time... but thats what i rekon good luck with ur decision. johnnyt

yep i would... i don't on mine and the throttle sticks everynow and again.. i can't find a way to make it work yet.. all mine are bloked off and it runs fine... johnnyt
