  1. Awesome thanks guys...
  2. Definitely not a 1uz I have spoken to an engineer whilst investigating swaps when I was living in NSW I was told an n/a engine can be up to 3x the weight of the car (1000kg car limit is 3L) and forced induction is 2.5x (1000kg car limit is 2.5L). The engineer also said even if the engine is within those restrictions but is too hi-po it won't get engineered so I dare say you would be sh!t outta luck with a sr20t as well unless ur in good with an engineer.
  3. Ajps normally get good raps from people they make stuff that will bolt straight in I think. WWW.ajps.com.au
  4. Agreed get some aftermarket buckets with universal rails. My brother in law got rx8 buckets to go in my ke30, he welded up some plates etc etc took ages. My rx8 buckets are for sale they will bolt straight in as all the fab work is done, pm me if ur interested.
  5. Hi I have lost the nuts that bolt the Carbie to the manifold, its a standard 3k in 1976 ke30. My question is what bolts do I need I've tried a few different ones and can't find any that fit, I tried M7 and can't remember the others, any help?
  6. Awesome they are by topstage, exact ones I'm looking to buy once they're on can u take some pics and share them for me?
  7. 2 questions: Does anyone know where in Sydney or Canberra I can get rims rebarrelled? If my rims don't sell I want to change them from +25 to 0 offset. Second has anyone on RC used the bolt on flares on their ke rolla? I'm looking at some flares from topstage composites but they are "universal" so I am a bit hesitant... will put up pics of flares from topstage if that helps and/or pics of other rollas with flares....
  8. Don't believe there are mounts already made but you can use the whole s13 set-up (engine, cross member, struts, lca's, brakes etc). Has been covered many many times here and on ae86dc and toymods, just Google it and you will get all the answers across the various forums.
  9. Dbr11k is sat about 2.5 degrees give or take
  10. 20v or gze swap while you're at it maybe? Or you just gonna keep it 16v n/a?
  11. Hey everyone my k30 is for sale, it's mustard yellow stock rims a bunch of stuff has just been replaced(suspension battery carpet) still pretty original it has NSW rego til may 2012, I have it in the main for sale area too I'm asking $3800 but am negotiable and will do it cheaper without the stereo and some other small things, only selling as I want to buy a ke70. I also have up for sale a set of BBS RS rims with tyres they're 15x7 or 7.5 can't remember +25 offset with Michelin x2 tyres on 2 and cheap maxxis tyres on another 2 plus I also have a fifth rim with no tyre as a spare asking $2k for the rims and tyres but I am negotiable. I am also in the market for a ke70 so if anyone sees anything for sale or you want to sell yours let me know, I want one that is fairly stock, manual and with small amount of rego. Cheers
  12. Lol in a race it does matter and someone has to put Honda in their place. :P Go 3sge beams, 2jz will just spin the wheels and won't be as aggressive top end (you won't be able to get any of the power down), unless you put a dual vvti head I think off late model 1jz and maybe even late model 2jz. Also 3sge beams will be easier to install. If you want all out go a 2jzgte (turbo) the stock w58 box will be able to handle anything you throw at it then put a shortened hilux diff in the rear and if you can get traction you will annihilate ANY Honda... lots of money though. Is it really worth building a whole car just to beat some Hondas? MHO you should make some proper goals of your own. GOOD LUCK though and keep us up to date :)
  13. Hmm was hoping it wouldn't be $1500 lol is that just a basic 5k setup or is that pretty full on?
  14. Seller is lxy-642
  15. Whole bottom end, rods piston everything been told I just need head accessories and exhaust. Not sure what pistons they are
  16. Hi all I currently have a 3k in my ke30 and I'm looking at buying a 5k block from another rolla club member. Where I am stuck is should I use the head Carbie etc off my 3k and make a frankenstein 5k or buy stuff specifically for the 5k? Us it best to do a bit of both ie use the 3k head but buy Carbie and intake for a 5k?
  17. 15x7 +25 should be fine. I am selling mine at the moment they are BBS RS rims with tyres
  18. What car are u putting the motor into? What type of racing will you be doing (drag, drift, circuit?) And lastly what car are you trying to beat lol sounds like a civic if integra with k20 maybe?
  19. Lol my dad mentioned something about it i don't believe it though, plus Ive moved to ACT now so I'm all good.
  20. Best option either beams 3sge or SR20VE if you are willing to go Nissan. Both have variable valve timing etc both 2L 4cylinder both close to equal with K20. Anything else you need more cylinders or a turbo or a F20c Honda S2000 motor which is way better than a k20 but so expensive.
  21. Wow that's amazing. I was living in Sydney and asked around about putting a 13b turbo into a ke30 and was told it was a big no no and would not be able to be engineered :( well done and good luck though looks amazing!
  22. Wow, love the hakosuka!!! I also like the idea of the single spring with progressive rate for my ke30. Very nice....
  23. Spend the money on aftermarket coilovers to suit an s13 I would say, thats what I'm doing...

    Noobs

I understand what you are saying and to a point I agree, I have been on here consistently for months and enjoy searching around. I agree people shouldn't be spoon fed but I also think things shouldn't be any harder than they need to be. I was also just trying to stop all the stupid posts about crazy engine swaps etc from noobs (quite a few I have been apart of unfortunately ).
  25. Why sr20de? 20V has more. Power more than likely less weight and you keep it all Toyota. If u stick with sr20 just use the s13 brakes and coils....
